why not show the history and how the US propped up hussein and supported his regime for decades? why not show that infamous clip of rumsfeld shaking hands with hussein? why not explain how iraq got its hands on chemical and bio weapons in the first place (from the US and UK) and how the US gov't knew full and well that he was using it on his own people years and years ago??

You forget it about the Iranian taking people hostage it just was not U.S. citizen, other countries including Russians, Europe and Asian countries. When Iran/ Iraq War in the 80s that is why we supported him to lean on Iran. Another thing is we and the Brits did not give chemical/ bio weapons it was the French and Russkies.

Unfortunately you are incorrect. In 2002, Al Gore stated that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and we needed to organize a coaltion to invade Iraq. Earlier than that, in a 1998 letter, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara A. Milulski, Tom Daschle, John Kerry and other prominent Democrats sent a letter to Clinton encouraging him to take military action if necessary, to rid Iraq of WMD.
