  • "Everyday could be our last"

That REALLY hits home, I mean think about it... Natasha was fine right after the accident! She laughed! An hour later she was brought to the hospital, then passed. Death is unbelievable, tragic, and horrific. Anything could happen, it happens so fast it's terrible.

    RIP Natasha:(

  • @Ragetti911 I couldn't agree with you more on most of what you said al though I see more of Joely in Vanessa and have always thought Natasha more closely resembled her dad Tony and you also forgot Vanessa's brother Corin also died in that 13 1/2 month period from March 09 to May 2nd 2010. at least with Corin & Lynn it was expected both of them had been sick for years but Tasha's hurts the most a parent is never suppsed to outlive their children

  • Hahaha this one gets me every time!

  • This just shows that the paparazzi are sick people. The job should not exist. Who the hell in their right mind takes pictures of a grieving family?

  • My heart goes out to her family and her truest friends.

Natasha looks so much like Vanessa I just never realized until Letters To Juliet, and everytime I was watching Vanessa I saw so much of Natasha.

It gave my heart a tug.

I am sure it must be hard for Vanessa Redgrave to lose her daughter and her sister within a short period of time. It is so sad losing a loved one for anyone, but Natasha's was a real tragedy, because it wasn't expected.Life is so precious appreciate every moment of it.

  • billy bob curse

  • still so unbelievably sad!! but i love liam neeson and im happy that he's managed to move on with his new girlfriend, he deserves it

  • why the hell would the paparrazi be there in that kind of situation! BITCHES!

  • The way I see it, if people get up off their lazy asses and go to work everyday, they more often than not have health care. That's the way it works. Unless of course you are one of those poor souls who can't summon up the strength to get off the couch, where you sit all day watching Jerry Springer and Michael Moore, and blame the rest of the world for the fact that you are too lazy to be proactive about your life.

  • If she'd been here in the US, instead of a country with socialized medicine, there would have been a neuro doctor there to assess/monitor her & provide the emergency treatment she needed for epidural hematoma But, with socialized healthcare, like barrack osama is pushing for here in the US, there will be cut backs and it will be the exception to have neurosurgeons at every hospital like we have now, not the norm. So, here in the US, we will see preventable deaths like this rise dramatically.

  • @Bhav341 I completley disagree :/ America has the worst healthcare in the world - worse than CANADA, BRITAIN, FRANCE AND THE REST OF EUROPE. your healthcare causes the most deaths in the world due to the denying medical treatment to so many of the u.s patients. It's terrible.. people have even cut their own limbs off because they can only afford certain things as it's so fucking expensive. health insurance sucks and it's better to live somewhere with freee healthcare, SEEN MICHAEL MOORE!??

  • @Laureng1996 I know lots of people in the US with no healthcare. A girl I work with just had gall bladder surgery, she has no health care. She's now on opiate addict detox meds, not paying a dime for it. I know ppl w/ cancer who are being treated, someone who broke a leg last year, all w. no health care. What u r saying is BULLSHIT. Hospitals here will take you and fix whatever is wrong, it's called charity care. The taxpayers, meaning the americans who WORK for a LIVING, pay for it.

  • "its better to live somewhere with freee healthcare" you say? NOTHING is free. Someone somewhere pays for it. And it usually isn't the person getting it. Those of us who work see money coming out of our checks or pay higher insurance rates to cover all the FREE healthcare. I work in healthcare. I want to throw up when someone dressed better than me and carrying a $200 cell phone hands me a medicaid card. Maybe you should come here and work for a year or two.

  • @Bhav341 Not every working American can afford health insurance; it's absurdly expensive, and the medical industry charges obscene prices for care, so even after you've paid your premium and co-pay, you STILL have medical bills. When I lived in Florida, there were walk-in clinics, reasonably priced, that absorbed the outrageous costs of Emergency room care for a chest cold. An exam was $40.00, not $1000.00.. Welfare, medicaid needs to change drastically, no question.

  • @angerdux8 most ppl can't afford to live in nice crime free neighborhoods or drive safer, more well built cars...should we be making those cheaper as well? I know things are expensive - that's life! If one used their head and prepares better for life, they will be able to afford a better standard of living. And even if you don't, this notion of people dying in the streets because of our health care is a lie. Anyone can get charity care and not be ruined financially by unpaid med bills.

  • @Bhav341 First of all, I can't make sense of your remarks about cars.. Second, I don't think you have a clue about the health care crisis. Your suggestion about charity care, where working Americans foot the bill, is part of the problem of the high cost of health insurance. And your idea that people will be able to afford a better standard of living if they prepare is laughable. In this economy?

  • @angerdux8 ok. let me try to phrase simply. I had lousy jobs, waitress, salesperson, retail...got tired of low pay, and my jobs depending on the economy. I got financial aid, went back to school...all the while I was caring for my family. Worked 2 jobs and studied all the time. Now I am in healthcare & make great money, & though I'm affected by high prices too, I'm no longer always one paycheck away from poverty. Because I became proactive & responsible for my life & took steps to improve.

  • @Laureng1996 I agree. Everyone has the right of medical treatment when he needs it whether he's rich or not. It's a very big shame that in some countries only people with money can afford health care. Having and/or getting health care is a human right in my opinion.

  • @Skarlet79 Sounds like you are thinking just the way the socialist agenda pushing politicians want you to think.

most people are responsible for their own lives and don't look to the govt. to provide for them. But, among those who do, I can assure you, they are getting their health care. Take a look at your check and how much you actually get when you cash it - where do you think all that missing money you earned has gone? To pay the way for some moron who doesn't work, that's where.

  • @Bhav341 I grew up in Germany. There I payed a quite amount of money (almost 300 euro) in the public health care every month. Of course it's annoying but I didn't had any deprivation. I could have almost everything I wanted. Everyone can get in a bad situation who he can't work anymore. It's my way of think that the money you have in your bank account or whereever should NOT decide if you live or die in case you get sick. It's just the way I ave been thought all my life.

  • Years ago I was in a bad car accident. The paramedics came and I told them I was fine and didn't want to go in the ambulance. - I only know now that I refused to go with them because I was told about it later. I don't remember ANY of it because I suffered a severe concussion. So, at what point should paramedics decide that you are not well enough to decide for yourself if you are ok or not? - I'm sure the paramedics knew a lot more about brain hemorage's than Natasha did...

  • Parent Trap?!?! nooo

  • Why can't the paparatzzi leave ? They know Liam neesonand his 2 sons need alone time to pray for her!

  • How about Quebec getting some CareFlite type helicopters? They had to DRIVE by the Bell HELICOPTER plant on Hwy 15 on the way to Montreal for medical treatment. What might a CareFlite trip have saved? Time? Her life?

  • @phskin Those helicopters are very expensive. A country with socialized medicine is not going to splurge on such luxuries.

  • AWW VANESSA REDGRAVE!

  • i think Quebec is trying to make helmets mandatory on ski hills

  • So they were killed in luxury.

  • A mother should never have to outlive her child. RIP Natasha

  • Why does the good always die young?! It's not fair she was an amazing actress and such a sweet person!

  • Why can't the paparazzi and the media leave their family alone? I mean she died. Show some respect here.

  • Can you all pay some respect, everyone makes a big deal when someone dies in a film well this is real.

  • Very sad :(

  • She said to the medic that she was fine, she even said to them to let her go. She made a stupid decision. It is not the fault of Québec emergencies respond. Peace to her!

  • killerxJuggalo - what is wrong with you? this will come back to you...

  • Poor Liam )=

I feel so bad for him.

I wonder what he's going to do now...

    I can't believe she's gone )=

That makes me really quite sad.

  • sicko!!!

  • eat my shorts

  • who do you think you are?? Bart Simpson???

  • If a professional actor can't conceal how he is really feeling with half a dozen paparazzi hovering around then who can??

    You stupid, insensitive half-wit.

There is no doubt he loved her, her eldest child was smiling in all the photographs immediately after her death...did he kill her too you moron?

  • yes smiling means happy familes.. ever see the pictures of the Menendez family?? SUPER SMILES.. til the boys hacked their parents to death in their sleep.. fucking grow up moron

  • You have no emotional intelligence whatsoever.

    Pityful!

  • Just an incredibly sad story...my sympathies to the families.

  • shes very pretty..

  • rest in peace natasha

  • I just love the title

Natasha Richardson: Family "shocked" at death

    What emotion do they expect?

Natasha Richardson: Family "mildly amused" at death

Natasha Richardson: Family "slightly constipated" at death

Celebrities are humans, (well most of them are) with families and friends and trials and tribulations. God bless them and I hope they are left alone!

  • RIP, Natasha!

  • May her soul rest in peace.

Natasha was an amazing actress, a classy woman and I very sweet mother, wife and friend. The whole world is gonna miss her.

I'm sure she'll watch over Liam and the boys from heaven.

  • this is so sad...not the mommy from the parent trap!!! noooo...

  • R.I.P Natasha, u were a wonderful woman and even though u aren't with us your spirit will be in our hearts!

  • rip natasha

  • Helmet! Helmet! Helmet! Should be mandatory...professional and the more so with the beginners ..common sense!

  • such a tragic loss...

  • just unbelivable.... shock....

  • thats aweful idk even know of her but ran into this video she goes skiing falls and I am sure she felt embarrassed only to get up and laugh it off then dies an hour later poor woman she must of really been hurt though she got up this is sad and ppl are also sad with these horrible comments

  • I guess you have never seen the olympics

  • You are an idiot, you are on every one of these videos making fun of someones death, thats bad karma.

  • A helmet? I never see people wearing helmets when skiing.

  • Then I question the management of your ski facilities, temp5056. At all my favourite hills, helmets are mandatory for anyone under 18, and strongly recommended for anyone else. In fact, at Canada Olympic Park, you MAY NOT use the freestyle facility without a helmet, regardless of age.

We have over 80% helmet use across the board in Alberta. If you don't see helmets where you ski, then maybe your goggles have gotten fogged up...

  • Maybe if Natasha's tragic death will make some changes and make people think twice about their safety when skiing or knowing what can happen if you take a bad fall. Many of us would have reacted as Natasha did and shrug it off, not wanting to make a scene. But it pays to be extra careful and check things out, better to make a scene and check it out than have something like this happen. A critical injury won't be obvious until it's too late, so check it out.

  • thats an awful way to talk about someone who has just passed away, your the idiot for having no tact.

  • Just goes to show. In the fight between downhill skier and tree, tree will always win.

  • She was the example of a proper English lady. I'm concerned for her mum as she's getting up there&having to morn your daughter is a big strain (look at what happened to the Queen Mum). I hope that the family will get the support they need during this sad time. It's a shame that Wild Child was her last film (being in a movie with Emma Roberts isn't how anyone would want to be remembered). I wish she'll be remembered for The White Countess instead&generous spirit in charity work for AIDS.

  • omg natasha richardson has died my deepest sympathy to liam and her family she was one of my favourite actresses so sad r.i.p natasha richardson you will be remebered by me and e.p.s.s.p.a and my mates r.i.p natasha

  • why is it that its never murderers and people like them that never have accidents and die

  • death is tragic and sad no matter who it is. it is good they get the story out there so that more people will be cautious and aware of head injuries and be more inclined to get them checked out so that things like this dont have to happen. my prayers are with her and her family

  • Fuck Knows

  • Because she was a good actress, because this happened in tragic unexpected circumstances. So show some respect you fucking dork

  • I show respect to others who die too. Now piss off and get back to your nerdy little war games and RPG shit.

  • what a nasty little cunt you are
