I'm not kidding, heard this track 18364 times on my iphone...i hear it everyday quite a often times driving to work, and everytime i fall asleep....so relaxing!
@guttergawker... I wish atlas sound and animal collective got together, but then baths walked in with gold panda. And they all decided to have an incredible foursome and then all get pregnant with the most amazing music in the world.
someone asked about the bands that sound like this...
One recommendation that hasn't been mentioned below is School of Seven Bells...to mey ear, there is similarity in both the watery sound, and the high pitched vocal.
Every day when I walk home from school, I listen to this song. I probably look pretty baked with my eyes half-open, staring up at the sky with earphones in my head. But I don't even care because this song is so beautiful.
@luluberyllium great, thxs 4 the news flash super brain. U need to go rethink ur life if u need 2 insult others via YT comments. Peace be w/ ur dark n lonely soul. I was talking bout the whole group not just Noah...penis face
Atlas Sound is the solo project of Deerhunter's lead singer. They sound different, but equally awesome. Obviously Sterolab is a good place to start. Broadcast is similar too.
apparently efterklang sounds kind of like this. I'm only just getting into them though, so I dunno. If you wanna go for some old school experimental rock, like 60's status old school, try CAN's Tago Mago, or Rotary Connection
The opening painting is a Mondrian. Most of the furniture is 50's and 60's modern by the designer Noguchi. and i believe there is a Le Corbusier chair in there. they are both architects and the most notable of the modern movement.
I love this song , s different than anything i have heard in a while . Kinda reminds me of some of the old "air" songs on the virgin suicides soundtract but more uptempo . Give me that same vibe . Check out Efterklangs "modern drift"
Wow, this song was so ethereal and transcendent that a had to seek out the lyrics, and they too were equally awe inspiring. These beautiful images were taken from the 1958 film The American Look
i love that one part where it just completely breaks off and you're like "wtf?" and you think it's about to change up, but then the beat that you're so familiar with just comes back five times stronger.

This is the kind of song that has the power to literally stop you in your tracks as you pass the radio. I was with a customer at work when I heard this for the first time, and I just couldn't let this this song fade into the abyss. I whipped out my phone right then and there, taking note of the time so I could look it up on the station's playlist later. This is a rare gem that only comes along very rarely. Just like greenhitband, I'm happy to listen to this into infinity, and I have! = )
i wanted to live the life of a prince because I thought saints were born saints so indeed we didn't stand a chance insalubrious offshoots of nature with heart and mind of our own all the daughters all the sons taking centuries to unearth the creature heralding a stage where consciousness is higher taken through a costly process of success and failure i thought saints were born saints i looked in the dirt and found wisdom is learnt through a costly process of success and failure
I'm not kidding, heard this track 18364 times on my iphone...i hear it everyday quite a often times driving to work, and everytime i fall asleep....so relaxing!
