oh i love this show! i'm so glad there are so many episodes on here.

haha...but i find it really amusing that this is set in France and when Mercedes sees Edmond, she says, "Edmond! Mi Amor!" which is Spanish...somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but it should be, "Mon amore."

@lilyballerina haha! I never caught that before. And I believe you're right only the spelling is "Mon amour". :D

@lilyballerina Actually, in the book, she is one of the Catalans, along with her cousin. As such, she would either be speaking Spanish, or their regional language.  Of course, they could have spoken French, but the Spanish does lend a bit of exposition.

@lilyballerina That's because, in the original novel, Mercedes is Castillian Spanish. So, she is speaking correctly.

@lilyballerina well...mercedes is supposed to be a catalan from spain, so that would explain why she was speaking to him in spanish
