  • Neal must have thought he saw Lennon there for a moment.

  • Paul Gilbert have the technique, but George Harrison have the FEELING. I like both.

  • @matiyallegra you're in denial if you say Gilbert plays with no feeling

  • @gregory06 I dont say that. But Gilbert have less feeling than Harrison. That's the true. Indeed Harrison was an inspiration for Paul. I like both anyway.

  • nice

  • How cool is this! I wish they did more of Rubber Soul and Revolver...

  • this is the first tym watching this band.! and mike's here! wow! im a huge beatles fan! this is great! wow!!!! keep doing this guys.!!!!you're all great!!thanks a lot for doing beatles stuff!

  • Imagine if George harrison was soloing like that in the beatles.

  • Haters gonna hate. This is a great tribute to a great band, you can enjoy the music and stop hatin' or you can be a hater. Up to whatever your twisted mindset tells you.

  • Does anybody know if Paul is using some kind of effect on his guitar to get that jangly Rickenbacker sound, or if it's all the in EQ? Whatever it is, it sounds really good.

  • @ForViewingOnly yeah its the second position on the ibanez five way super switch with the volume rolled off pretty low. if you watch his hendrix tribute stuff thats on youtube or i believe his dimarzio pickup advertisement video on here with the orange rg he explains the tone. Its the split coil and regular single coil sound blending out of phase and the pickup configuration is HSH

  • The funniest thing is the in-between patter in perfect newscaster English, and then the song starts and the bad English accents come out. I don't know what's scarier---tribute bands or the audiences who make them popular and give them money, which further discourages clubs from hiring bands who play their own music.

  • I LIK it very much. I really really Lik this. lik lik lik

  • Nice cover, but George is first in my book anytime of the day. Music first, shred later

  • Best cover band !!

  • all the good musicians have influnce for the beatles... GOOD MUSICIANS...

  • unos musicos de puta madre!!

  • ok, fishguru73.... you have no clue what your saying. how about a little research before you make a pretty bold accusation like that. I know for a fact paul gilbert was heavily influenced by the beatles along with other great artists like jimi hendrix and aerosmith. go look at paul gilbert's first four albums. that's his best albums. or if your more into shred, check out his shred albums. he's a great guitarist who loves what he does. he's very humble.

  • i'm a beatles fan and i'm pleased to see a portnoy,or a gilbert having so much fun playing beatles songs, whereas they usually keen on speed scales or acrobatic playing!

  • When a band is about the MUSIC and not playing dress up I can respect them YMC is focusing on the songs and not some goofy act. They are right up there with The Fab Faux. (high praise indeed!)

    Go four it guys!

  • If by "good" you mean playing "metal", "hardcore", or "aggressively fast" like Paul Gilbert here, then i guess they aren't good. But you're wrong, because the Beatles influenced all 4 of these guys here and a whole half century and beyond of music.

  • You've got to be kidding me. You just said the Beatles weren't great musicians... I guess if they were just "good" musicians, any random group of 4 "good" musicians will go as far as they did.

  • Paul (Gilbert and McCartney) is awesome.

  • Amazing feast of friends...!!

    Perfect!

  • its amazing how they put in the song their own style without taking away its essence....

    great line up...

intresting portnoy in such a small kit

  • "George you've improved." LOL!

  • i think The Beatles are great musician, instead of good ones. there are several conditions due to why they put their efforts on studios. One of them is they could not do much on live due to live constraints at that time meanwhile their creativity expanded in studio. that's why they did not do great in Shea and other concerts

  • The Beatles were good musicians not great

musicians. They were great in the studio and

had an excellent producer, George Martin.

Now, these guys are incredible musicians.

And, of course the Beatles wrote timely

songs, that is why their music still lives on.

  • oh, how wrong you are about good and great, they're unbeliavable great, always found the perfect sound for anything, from the gentle acoustic solo work of till there was you and and i love her to the bluesy scream of yer blues, the bluesy flow of i want you shes so heavy to the early nashville style of all my loving, and my favorite is still something, most beautiful solo ever.

for pauls basslines and rings drums and fills and rolls i don't need to say much.

  • All these guys have such amazing ears. To play Beatles songs that precisely, you HAVE to be a true fan....but of course it dosn't hurt to be a superb musican as well. I don't think there's a music genre that Paul can't play on guitar. Portnoy is the everyman's drummer. Matt never siezes to amaze me (I didn't know he could sing like that). And Neal covers it all! AWESOME!!

  • The Beatles were way ahead of their time and they fostered an entire generation of music masters. Look at this line up people. I wish I had been there, especially for Paul Gilbert!

  • The Beatles were great musicians thats why there music is still so alive today..They are the greatest band ever..DT43

  • absolutely amazing.

  • the beatles were great musicians.......

  • Go and learn something about music and composition you ignorant.

  • I defenetly agree.... if the Shay Staduim show didn't sound like crap

  • Yeah, these musical studs took time out of their schedules to play bullshit because the Beatles had no influence on them whatsoever. Play some old Beatles and I think you'll get it down that their arrangements were ingenious. I'm a shredder and I still love them, but I love classical and bluegrass too. You will never be a great musician if you can't learn from other styles of music and, if you love metal, keep in mind that the music you love would not be around if it wasn't for the Beatles.

  • word.

  • Words of wisdom.

    You truly are a fishguru.

  • @fishguru73 the beatles where a huge influence on paul gilbert

  • @fishguru73 the beatles were a huge influence on paul gilbert man

  • This is what real musicians sound like doing a Beatles cover. :-)

  • yeah. I like these dudes cause they arent all obsessive. wearin the tuxes and stuff.

  • Sounds just like the real thing.

  • Haha, George you've improved. That was funny.

  • first of all, paul gilbert is probably one of the most humble shred guitarists out there and secondly if you can't see the humour in that comment then you have problems.

george harrison was a great guitarist, but paul gilbert at a technical level is far better than him and i doubt george would have said otherwise.

  • He's written plenty of good songs, both instrumental and in more traditional formats. Your musical taste has nothing to do with his songwriting ability.

  • "worser" :D

  • He does have some good songs and just so you know worser isn't a word jackass

  • Comment removed

  • i won't :P

  • @Tommylp20 Fast doesn't make you good , theorie too ,

who cares how many different stuff he knows , how many hits he has 0 lol

george was better , will ever be ,

not because your personal choice are in fast players that you can easily compare them

one is a LEGEND one is a nobody in the music scene compare to the BEATLES .....

he couldn't even lace mccartney's shoe lace for a second

  • @hayabusafmw So....Beiber is better than Gilbert as a musician? Lady Gaga? P-Diddy? Doubtful. Hits do not make a musician. Talent, skill and dedication do. Just because Gilbert isn' t top 40 doesn't make him an amazing artist. And if you spent anytime actually furthering your knowledge of the musical world you'd know that the top 40 is not really representative of it's name. Many of the songs we cherish as classics were a footnote in their time. Learn to appreciate talent, not media coverage.

  • I belive that's called 'a joke'

  • My God, what CAN'T Paul Gilbert do??????

  • The best Beatles-Cover-Band I´ve ever seen. Really great musicians. excellent

  • Thanks for ulpoading it. Excellent.
