Is there any way to change the bulb in the midnight manager? I have one but the light suddenly went out during use one day. Because it went out suddenly, I thought it might be the bulb rather than the battery. Is there any way for me to know for sure without purchasing a new battery? Thanks,
I bought one of these off amazon. It didn't specify if it had a red or white light, and at the time I didn't even know they'd put a red light on it. Mine had the red light, of course, which is pretty much useless (the bulb is dull and I can't help but associate the color with insanity). Why would they even put a red bulb on it in the first place?
I agree 100%. The review and light demonstration showed exactly what I needed to know that no amount of internet research of Vic literature would have told me. Thanks you really helped me out.

Good review. I have the midnight manager (in blue). The LED light on mine is red. I keep it on my keyring and I feel it's a really nicely designed tool. The build quality is impressive for such a small knife.
Interesting review on the Midnight Manager. I did a review for the Manager. In your video I noticed that the light on the Midnight Manager was better suited for reading compared the Nano light. I used to own a similar Swiss Army Knife with a light and found it useful for finding the key hole when I used to live in a poorly lit neighborhood. The Nano light is more powerful, but the light on the Midnight Manager is more ideal for up-close applications.

@Nicool333 It's covered by the warranty, I suppose, Contact your authorised Victorinox service centre first.

@MrFerrisfe2 Look at the old battery and right down the writing. look for a watch battery that matches it at any store. good luck :-)

@foodlovingpig they put the red light on because red light doesn't make your pupils small so you can still see in the dark if you use the light.

@foodlovingpig redlight means cheaper LED than white LED :(. If I am not wrong now all the leds at Victorinox are white.

The light would be more useful if you could turn it on and it stayed on.
