Lordy! I heard that Minnesota also got some severe weather, recently. I'm glad I live in southeast Michigan where winter starts a bit later. On the other hand, I prefer winters where there's a lot of snow than the kind we usually get-- a lot of ice but relatively little snow.
Yikes!!! Last winter the east coast was hit terribly. It seems this year you folks are getting the "winter worst." But in November?!?! I agree that seems completely out of place. We get our snow in February. Well! Bake something warming! I'm sure you'll be out walking in the snow.
@WilliamFogle Hi Bill, snow here (theoretically) is always out of place...and I hate it since it creates chaos on the roads. Have had too much winter while in Saskatchewan...feel I have had my "Lifetime Quota". Wished I was as enthusiastic about baking as you are...does not work as therapy for me :-)
@sprichbeeke Well, dear Beeke, I am glad baking is *not* a comfort for you. Thus we shall always have our youthful-looking, slim and active lady. Hey, how about cross-country skiing?

So, they do call it The Great *White* North, eh?

@MartySchrader
Vancouver with its palm trees and mold temperatures is not really part of the Great White North...that's why we live here :-)

Stay SAFE AND WARM! Even though that is beautiful (my opinion as a person from Georgia) I don't envy you. Again, remain SAFE AND WARM....:-)
