It still amazes me that Bruce Willis and other cast mates don't like this film. Sure, at the time it was slightly disappointing but it's gotten better over the years. We need a special edition I'd love to hear about the behind the scenes drama on this thing. This is actually my favorite Bruce Willis role even more the McClain.

I love Bruce as a chain smoking, hard drinking, sarcastic bad ass. But what's great about this movie and his character, is the guy is A MANS MAN! A hard worker. A really nice guy with a whore wife, a bratty kid. But he knows who HE is, and he loves it. He knows its pretty damn cool to be a Joe Hollenbeck out in this world.

And that's what I love about his P.I. character. To some, Joe looks like another a-hole who woke up on the wrong side of the bed and just started hating the world, but the truth is he has a reason for being that way. I mean, he tried to do the right thing against a crooked-ass politician when he was Secret Service and got kicked in the nuts for it. I'm pretty sure that's enough to turn anyone into a Joe Hallenbeck...guy is cool as a cucumber and he just don't give a fuck.
