I have to Maltipoos and I am having a hard time training them. I looked at your video & read your information on training & I am going to try it starting Monday. I am paper training them & they go on the paper but they have frequent accidents. My husband & I work from 85 so they are in their cages until we come home. We let them have free range of the house for a few hours since they have been locked up all day. Anything suggestions you have would greatly be appreciated! Thanks

Hello.

I think this method will work especially since you are not home 8-5.

Make sure you give them plenty of room when you have multiples, so they can roam in their area. (I give a whole dining area for 3 dogs)

And since they are not "locked up" for that long, they won't be as hyper as if they are in crates all day ( it makes them easier to train)

& they must have a Potty Schedule. But since they already have frequent accidents, you have to be very strict with their schedule when they are out.

When you come home, stay calm. Check if they go on the potty pads. How many pee/ poop,when you were gone. My dogs waited for me to come home before they go, so they sleep all day when I am not home.

If that's they case, when you come home, leave them in there until they go potty and poop. Then let them out for 1 hr, then ask them to go in the room to potty again (& you have to do this until they are potty trained).

The key of any dog training is to be consistent. Everyday the same thing.

Don't forget to led them back in every 1 hr to potty and (whatever time) to poop when you are home. They need your help at the begining.

Eventually they will go on their own.

A lot of people watch my method and think that the dogs can let themselves in right away, that's not how it works.

They will need a lot of help at the beginning.

Try to avoid accident by following their potty schedule.

They can roam longer when they get older depending on their ability to hold.

Oh No. I am sorry about that.

It's hard to find hamsters when they escaped.

My hamsters escaped once in a while, but Skye always found them usually before I did.

But there was one time I remembered when Cocoa escaped and we could not find him all day long; so I make the noise I use to call my hamsters at dinner time and suddenly ... I saw him waiting in the middle of the living room. He knew it was dinner time. LOL

But anyway,

Is skye the corgi with the one blue eye, he is beautiful, I have a corgi who limps Because of his weak leg . we still have hopes that he will walk normally . he just had his 8th birthday I love your dogs I wish every dog had a home and every home had a dog.

Corgis are prone to have hip problems as they get older, unfortunatelly.

Try " Missing Link " for his leg. (i think they have one for bone/ with calcium), I heard they are good for dogs with weak leg.

It does take time though to rehabilitate the leg but I heard a lot of success story.
