If I am not mistaken this is not a Torino body but a Falcon body. All of the Torino's trunk had a very small spoiler incorporated in to the design of the car.

Not all Torino's were Fastbacks, this is a Formal roof Torino, the Falcons were a post car as in there was a post frame around the door windows, I added the spoiler it's from the 71-73 Mustang

cars from the muscle car era are typically pushrod v-8's. Performance tuned pushrod motors are known for their "popcorn" or "loping" idle. The noise is due to high duration cams that open the valves for a longer period of time than a typical street car. They can be great for performance, and those who like muscle cars like the sound a lot, however they are not typical factory parts because they make the cars idle choppy and unpredictable (bad for the average driver) and increase emiss.

dont laugh years ago they could tack weld whel bearings to your tail pipe ,with crossed air dirrectors on inside , to sin the bearing . in this way they would make a high piched creech...

its actually called the euro look, my truck was like it. if the paint doesnt flake it can look really good.....ps, im going to take my car between 2 buildings like that and see what kind of sound I can get besides loud. those flowmasters are loud. what size stall are you running, I saw one of your other videos and it turned on pretty quikley like about 3500 or so...I had a 4400 but because of the nitrous that I am now using I had to tone it down so that I wouldnt overrev...

2500 stall is in my car, I just got done installing a new rearend housing and center section in my car droped from 4:11 to 3:91 gears and went from a spool to a posi better for street use.

Motor is a 429 Thunder Jet bored 40 over forged pistons cam is a 556-563 heads are stock cast iron with 1:73 rockers, weiands stealth intake, 800 holly carb

Yeah it was a little cold the day I did that and it did not like it normally on warmer days it runs much better and I did let it warm up before doing the video but it still did not like the cold as far as idling, as for going down the road well thats a different story it loves the cold.
