  • @Stroup50

    Bah.

It get's rid of the tide and current issues. It's 20 times safer than the ocean - which in Chile, tends to SUCK.

  • @Stroup50 the ocean in chile is hirrid with waves and such on

  • @Stroup50 Well, their ocean is rough with huge waves and big rocks, so people could either get killed or seriously injured. So thats why people made the pool.

  • how much chlorine do they use

  • OMG BEAUTIFULLLLL!

  • Disgusting!

  • whats with the science:

you made a huge fucking pool with sea water in it, cant you say that?

  • @romeitofelixito Not if Paris Hilton is in there, it would get to dirty. And she undoubtedly is.

  • @TheTrueJBV3737 Chile needs something cool bro, like this pool! I was there cuz I'm from Chile

  • it's more like, world biggest bathroom for some

  • thats so cool

  • The most beautiful place in the whole world, Algarrobo. How do I know? I grew up in Santiago and every year we'd go there for summer vacation. The closest you'll ever find in this planet to paradise.

  • @romeitofelixito yeah its beautiful, but i think that dubai is the best looking, but thats my opionion!

  • @awesomeiguy Well, for one thing Dubia is very much a man made creation. It is in the desert, I think, and almost everything beautiful they go there is brought from elsewhere. In Algarrobo all the beauty you see is NATURAL. And I got to know it as I used to go every year with my family since I was a 3 year old. Mmmm, the smell of the clean, pure, Pacific; the pines, the wild flowers everywhere, the sun, the sand dunes. Tell you, for me tha's the closest you have to Paradise on earth.

  • Yea but it right next to the beach.not like there r dangerious waves or anything.

  • Its called ocean for a reason, not swimming pool....

  • World's largest swimming pool is surely the sea!!

  • world biggest toilet

  • @nadtulevad I laughed at this for ages, thanks man! hahahahah

  • I've heard of a bigger one, I think it was called the Pacific Ocean

  • Me in pool: "MOM! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?!"

  • @FlippenFunny1 actully some people do swim lengths like that including me

  • I wonder how many people pee in that pool

  • amazing

  • were's that pool?

  • @romenskie1990 on Chile dude, South America. Sometimes is usefull to read the description haha

  • Why do I have the sudden urge to take my kiteboarding gear to Chile?

  • Lol'd at "fernando fishman"

  • What is the point of such a huge pool when noone will swim lengths of that. Its really stupid! Will people please stop making such stupid inventions next they'll be making 50foot tall fridges!

  • @FlippinFunny1 Actually an invention is something new a big swimming pool isnt an invention -.- snd listen to the video stupid! It says it was made originally for getting salt water and making it fresh again. They were testing new ways to do it and im pretty sure they still do and people started swimming in it because the water is fresh thats why its caleld a swimming pool.

  • 35 METERS? Drop keys in pool. No more keys. I wonder if people throw money in there, and expert divers go down and find various tourist treasure?

  • How many people are necessary to keep this clean?

And for god´s sake is there a huge protectionfilm for winter??

  • i dont spik americano pero creo que estos gringo estan envidiosos de que esta piscina tan linda sea mas limpia y sin infecsiones como las piscinas de ellos, ediondos a pirungos no mas..

  • someone should take a dump in it

  • i wouldnt be in t he pool theres no waves

  • i'm scared

  • i wanna know how deep this is if you can have a boat! and OMFG that's sweeet :)

  • this is just stupid ....

  • The sea is completely calm though?

  • @jamwithmates123 No sharks in pool. No life guards in an ocean. No clarity in the ocean. No rip current in the pool. And if it's heated, no cold ass water in the pool. Enough reasons?

  • @promontorium No, I was referring to the waves in the sea as the reporter said, the images of the ocean look very calm, she does not mention sharks or any other dangers, so I had no way of knowing any of the things that you said.

  • wtf?! they should do this somewhere else not near the ocean!!

  • i wanna take a huge shit in it,

  • @SuperExpressway LOLOL just ruin it for the whole world

  • pool's closed

  • Ohhh the wind's picking up! waves crashing in the pool! Another 50,000 dollars to have the water treated and everything repaired. Don't forget lawsuits due to injuries to the people in the pool when it happened. They better have insurance...

  • The world's largest pool is the ocean ftw..

  • hey doesnt it seem weird if the ocean has dangerous tides and stuff wouldnt that water just dump into the pool and carry on

  • I wish was there

  • I saw that pool in a book!!!!!!!

  • Wow. A lake next to an ocean. Good job, retards

  • @Tolphas I don't think you listened to the video. "Notoriously dangerous surf and currents". These small children, babies and kayaks would have no chance in that type of surf. Problem solved.

  • @infokill That's why they make 20 ft long pools inside a hotel...

  • i hope this guy is actually getting funded to do more projects with the ocean water. if he can actually make the ocean water drinkable then this world is safe!!!! kudos for this smart man!!! i am rooting for him!

  • I wonder if anyone actually listened to the video. The sea is very dangerous, I wouldn't want to be sucked out in a rip tide, would you? And it's recycling sea water and using less chemicals, I think it's a great idea that you can enjoy the water safely and still get ocean views. I'm not saying every beach resort should have one, but this one is great.

  • This is kinda kool

  • Listen to the video before bitching about wasted water and being next to the ocean! GODS! the shore is naturally unsafe, and the water is recycled and from the ocean in the freaking first place!!! 0.000000000000000000000001% of the ocean there guys. That's NOT an exaggeration!!!

  • why the hell would they make a goddamn pool next to the ocean??!!!

  • @MrCinnamonBones because chiles hase to big waves to drunk a child,I had been there many times

  • i pee in there

  • I wanna pee in that pool...........

  • Wonder if ur able 2 pee in it?

  • @hornyguy98 if..you..are..able..to..pee in it.....what like its some sort of event there..."Come to this pool and pee in it!" weirdo

  • pacific should be the world's largest swimming pool

  • eh... ive been in bigger

  • COULD YOU IMAGINE PLAYING MARCO POLO IN THAT BIG BITCH?!!?!?!

  • I'd rather go in the natural pool right into the ocean!!!!

  • one time i saw a turd in a pool xD

  • I wonder how many people have peed in that pool???

  • Idiots for puttin it beside a friggin ocen

  • a tsunami is going to put it to shame one day

  • that seems like the ocean would flood into it during storms because its so close

  • MARCO!! ... MARCOOO!!! *distant faint murmur* polo! lol

  • Comment removed

  • daaaaaaaaannnnggggg.

  • Wait, did she just pronounce 'Chile' "Chilae"?

  • the first ocean made by man

  • the only thing about this video that i can say about it is... before the video my ad was the dyson fan... I WANT THAT FCKING FAN!!!

  • Hmmm.....spend millions of dollars on pool right next to ocean, or have an open beach.......gotta go with the pool!

    Thank you America!

  • Id rather go to a beach!!! lol

  • somehow this appears very stupid to me :D

  • @rikyman1995 didn't u hear at the end they said why they built the pool 'cause the beaches in chile are to fucking dangerous learn to fucking listen

  • Comment removed

  • @rikyman1995 wow, you are a big ignorant!

  • @rodrigostoteles no, you are if you don't consider the problems caused by shortage on water...

  • @rikyman1995 it recycles water, makes it clean....

  • @rikyman1995 waste of water?...did you hear yourself dumb ass !!? they just move the water...and its even cleaner. Last thing, they tell you why is it there, Chile has strong and dangerous waves, that thing make hotel architect wanted to do somthing different to have more security when people want to dip

  • @rikyman1995 It RECYCLES SEA WATER. Can you understand English, moron? It RECYCLES SEA WATER. Not every coast line in the world is safe for swimming. This is just a safer way for people to enjoy the sea water.

  • @rikyman1995 q locote jajajaja todos te mandan a la mierda jajajaja

  • @mgarciam13 hahaha si loco... ricof

  • @rikyman1995 recycled seawater.... you cant waste sea water... if we were drinking water from the ocean t would be enough for 10000000. years.

  • @rikyman1995

Well, I just don't understand how such nonsense comment came to your mind! more importantly I got more disappointed in those people who liked your comment! how could you call a water recycling a Waste? and yes it's right next to the ocean, but could you swim in every ocean in every condition? perhaps you're a pro! but I doubt those lil kids capability in fighting those waves!

  • @Daniel69l cry it up bitch

  • @Daniel69l I'm from Australia and surf in Australia is a lot bigger than the waves in Chile and I see kids fighting the waves all the time, maybe Chilean kids are wimpy?

  • @01101011010101010100 I am not comparing children of different countries together as it's one of the most stupid things I've ever heard!! The kids are kids, the ocean is ocean and the only matter here is the safety of people; the pool is built next to a dangerous shore and they are recyling ocean water which is a good idea. Children's safety is only an example of this pool's benefits. Hope you get the point.

  • @Daniel69l Well that's you, maybe you prefer your kids to swim in PISS, Me on the other hand would prefer my child to swin in the ocean. The Ocean is a beautiful place, unlike a pool haha! The ocean is only dangerous if you fail as a parent. In my opinion if you had the choice, and you went to the pool over a beach you fail as a parent.

  • @TheDarceChoke Well, it depends on swash and backwash. If the beach has a strong swash then kids can be swept out to sea. Also you're a good parent if you don't want to take a risk, you're just a cocky parent if you think that way. Are you so sure you will watch one of your children won't wander off or go underwater?

  • @Daniel69l have you been there, have you seen it?

  • @011010 I think is mostly a cultural thing. I guess australians got the surfing thing from the natives who probably used to brave the waves to go from island to island in the Pacific. In Chile there was never such a tradition, everybody has lived inshore or in the cost without any need or taste for sea navegation--except for the big sailing boats after the Conquest of course. I used to go to Algarrobo since I was a kid and I never saw anybody caring for surfing--or baseball, or rugby, or skying

  • @01101011010101010100 How the HELL do you remember your username...

  • @ThePhilipgg THATS WHAT I WAS WONDERING!

  • @01101011010101010100 yeah, waves in Australia are very very big! I saw a youtube video of an amazing wave with people surfing on it on Australia :)

  • @rikyman1995, right...its recycled sea water...what a waste XD

  • @rikyman1995 The beach it's self is unsafe, do to currents. the pool makes up less than one septillionth of one percent of the oceans water, which, by the way is it's source in the first place, so, it has no impact on the world, economically, ecologically, or humanitarian. Ocean water is not a resource, just a travel medium, and an ecosystem for life forms, which are untouched. To summarize my point, do your research, listen, and quit being self righteous. You aren't getting brownie points here!

  • @rikyman1995 It's for those who want to swim but without the sand, waves, sea salt, fish, piss shit and ejaculant
