It makes me want to embrace him and hold him, like he is GOD ----or? Some one or some thing that is so very great and inspiring. This song, the way he plays it, moves me tremendously. I wish he was still a live just so I may sit in his prescence. Gushy, I know, but he brings it out in me. Why did the critics crucify him? Was he a danger as Jesus was to some? Why, and how did they?

Just magnificent !! ..I once heard Liberace say years ago that this song, "The Impossible Dream" was his favorite song of all time, and you can tell just the way he plays it and how much feeling he shows when he recites the words. Thank you for this great video.
He is a ridiculously good pianist. His hands are so fluid and fast but I'm afraid he simply can't sing. I guess no one is skilled at everything.

He was my childhood idol.
Many years later, as a grown man I went to hear him here in Sydney. He was then in his 60s.
From the moment he walked out on stage it was if he had given me back the magic of my childhood on a silver plate. I will never forget that feeling.
There really has never been a day in my life since my childhood when I have not thought of him.
