  • why half step down?... let the music be like it is originally..

  • i always come back to listen to this no matter where i am in life

  • claaaaassic

  • great track ! just discovered greg sage and wipers, better late than never...

  • god, i love this shit.

  • what album is this off

  • @HentzDude

Album title: Straight Ahead; artist-Greg Sage (not a Wipers album, but solo)

  • I feel like having a smoke at night listening to this. It reminds me of rain in South Dakota when I went there to work (im from Texas). The strange people. The black lady with white parrot on her shoulder in a dingy little motel. The white girls in the tiny town. The rain. The muskies. The walleye. The Red River. Wipers take me places I've been, places I thought I've been, and places I'd like to be.

  • @spaceorbison I am so glad there are people out there listening to this. Greg's lyrics always so poetic. This was some of the very first formative muic in my life. I can hardly think of any better. (Your comments are very literate.)

  • Holy shit this one is so awesome.

  • Man, the nights I stayed up late listening to this as a kid. Music will never be the same.

  • Sage def. has his own tone and mood to his music....I like it!!!

  • Greg was listed as one of the 100 best guitarists of all time in the September issue of Classic Rock Magazine (out of Britain) along with Clapton, Jeff Beck, Hendrix, etc.

  • GRANDE GREG!

    Esta canción me conmueve

Sin duda uno de los mejores y más ignorados artistas que haya dado el rock...

  • @PergioArias

I was playing in a Portland punk band called The Inputs & this was from our 1st gig. It was the Wipers 3rd or possibly even their 2nd gig. It was photographed on November 4, 1978 at the Long Goodbye in Portland.
