Yes he speaks a pretty good english, but you can't tell the same as far as Marie is concerned. She is a french speaking girl after all, only love and chemistry between the two of them matters. They make a cute sweet couple, wish them good luck, especially after Joachim has been through.

Well, they do say that opposites attract. :D Maybe Joachim wanted a woman who is not like him. Joachim gives me the impression that he's very intelligent and poised. His former wife, Alexandra was strong and intelligent and very poised just like him.

Marie is intelligent as well, but there's an air of youthfulness in her, kinda playful and carefree. Maybe that's the reason why Joachim noticed her, and he loves her for that. :D
