  • @robbertzzz oh well is fine, I feel honored people like you like our culture, Rroma people are suffering so much discrimination in Europe... be good.

  • @robbertzzz mint tu travail avec inna ??

  • Bravo!

  • if you're still doing Balkans music, try doing Muharrem Qena-Kaqurrelja.

It's an Albanian song about a girl with curly hair and every Albanian rock band has done a remake of it. I'm sure we'd all love to hear you since your Esma is awesome :)!

  • I like this :)

  • i'd love to hear your new version of this song...but this is still pretty good considering you don't speak the language! How did you even get interested in singing such songs, do you have any Balkan background???

  • @MoonPisces029

Thx, but i have no Balkan Background, i got interrested by watching movies by directors as, Toni Gatlif, Emir Kusturica and several documentary's.

  • I like your performance of the famous song of Esma Redzepova. It's unique and very creative. I am from Serbia and I know how originaly Caje Sukarije sounds, but this your version is so nice. Thanks Robert. I enjoyed bery much. Maube you should record some more gipsy songs with the quitar.

  • You have such a soothing voice...^^

  • wow Great ..

  • so good! and you are soooo cute :)) <3

  • BRAVOOOOOOO :) :) :)

  • wonderful work. Excellent

  • How did you know the track? Please dont say "Borat".

And to correct your information , its Balkan/Roma not Gypsy.

Gypsy is a bad word, we dont say it either.

For example i dont call black people N*gger, ich call them Black, or African or whatever.

I call them By the Nationality, we're not Egypts we are, Roma.

By the way, good singing. ; )

    Peace.

  • Wonderful! It is interesdting how music spreads. The moors were in Spain for a long time and they left their music there. It evolved and mixed with the gypsy music. You sound terrific and so does your guitar.

  • awesome ;))

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE what you did to the song!!

  • :) gosh thank you..

  • Thumbs high!!!!!!!

  • greeting from Turkey, lovely!!!

  • I LOVE YOU - FROM CROATIA :)

  • Heyy..

I love your version, playing the guitare is so natural, you know I mean it sounds really gr8.And you look so lovely:)

    good one!

  • Hello,

I like Gypsy music from the Balcanes very much. I find that your well played flamenco guitar suits this song. I wonder how Spanish music was assimilated mostly in Macedonia by the Gypsies.

So you are dutch ;-) My grandfather was dutch too. But I happened to be born in Barcelona. Did you know that one time ago the best belly dancer of Cairo was a Dutch woman? Also the pronunciation of the Dutch is more flexible than the French or German one. Do you play the piano also?

    Greetings

    Martin

  • Hi Martin.

Thx for your comment. I didnt knew that some time ago a great bellydancer came from the netherlands. Do you know her name?

I play the piano sometimes.. but im not really good at it.

  • Thx again for all these nice comments. Y'all made my day.

  • hey im from mexico and i produced balkan partys and also homenage to Rrom people here...and i thing even wenn you are not absolut professional you are very nice i mean i like the sepia colors of the video...and i found honest and lovely the video..thanks and have a nice day

  • after i saw the *** winning the eurovision songcontest - you have much more talent

    keep on singing

  • can you give me the tabs pls ???

  • Great job !

    Respect from Balkan

  • Hey, you really did a great job, don't worry if you can't do the lyrics/pronunciation perfectly, I've known people who've performed the song for years and still couldn't to the lyrics right. Have you heard a song called Odjila - you can find it on you tube, I'm really curious what you could do with it.

I'm looking forward to hearing new thins from you

  • Thx, i will look for this song and will try to record it. If i succeed you will find it very soon in my video's :D grtz. Rj

  • good good! good voice my friend.

  • Hi, I love this song ! Hear you Kayah & Bregović ? They have great songs too :)

  • Well, nice interpretation from a dutch guy. And also you are so very very cute!! :P Any chance of u beeing gay or going both ways`?`:=)

  • wooow

  • good job, son! nice intepretation!;) peez

  • It's Chaje SHukarije, it's a 'sh' sound. Also you have difficulty pronouncing some of the other words as well. I would focus on guitar playing, I think u do it very well and ur interpritation musically is very good. But as for the singing I'd leave it to an actual Rom, or someone who speaks romani chib.

  • I know..this version was one of the first times ive played this song. Right now ive learned more..and its a lot better.. i will try to upload it soon..but i just moved..so i dont have any internet right now.. THX

  • well, Im from Bosnia, and here are alot of Romas, but I dont understand the language, it is very strange language

  • Ah nice x) Well i can understand. Ive been traveling in India, and some Roma words somehow sound like hindi words. Sow ..how is the Roma music in Bosnia..do you ever hear it there, and is it good?

  • yes, i like Romas music, but here arent some musicians, because Romas who live in my town are poor and not interested in music, shame cause their music is good!
