  • Not bad, not as Bach would have it but a fair "jazz" effort, spoilt somewhat by the high volume distortion. I like it.

  • stop yer trollin you childeren, just imagine how good he could play this on an organ. This is good, so shut up, like the video, and support him!

  • that's really good

  • wow

  • You play it good but it sounds better in church organ

  • esta obra pienso que no debe ser tocada para piano sino en un órgano.

  • youuu suckk!!!!!

  • soo poor played..... :S

  • yeahhh

  • Poor, very inaccurate and the tempo is changing widely throughout the piece... never mind you did not learn the fugue...

  • Good stuff, keep it up!!!

  • Cool. It just shows that Bach's Theme Goes With Everything, including Dracula and videogames!

  • i think people are giving u shit for have gay ass fucking hair

  • wel i think he did a gud job jesus people giv him a break!

  • dude this shit, it MUST be played on organ if you play from the original score or use the transcription which sounds awsome on piano

  • Poor Bach caling this work "Dracula" Toccata. See this is the problem, people always seem to asociate this piece with the dark and the ocult, just because of people such as your self, who include in the title "Dracula"when in reality is actually just "Toccata and Fugue in d minor" . A work writen without anithing to do with "Dracula" or any such things. Then ignorant people thake this as a fact, and do not apreciate this piece for its incredible beauty and grandour and play it for Halloween.

  • @MrAnonymusIV Thank you!!!

  • @MrAnonymusIV I agree so much! I hate it when people always comment on how scary or how (even so far as) evil this piece is when to me, its just the opposite. I never saw the Dracula movies or read the book, so I dont associate it with that. They see Dracula, I see Bach. Ill bet half the people who have heard this music dont even realize that it was not composed for the movie.

  • Don't be rude? you're the one who said "It's not a transcription, dumbass" to Minimal Hospital. Regardless of where you "assume" the title to come from, it is still NOT the title(which btw is Toccata in d minor, BWV 565). This is insulting to Bach. I would be embarrassed if i were you.

  • Don't call this the " 'dracula' toccata" you idiot. that just makes you a whore who doesn't really know anything about classical music. you're not even playing a transcription. Of course it's easy to play the organ version on piano because you don't have to play a third of the original piece!! (your technique isn't bad though) why not buy a transcription and play that instead--at least then you can be forgiven for calling it such a stupid name. Ignorant idiot. Thumbs up for agrees!!

  • @mar93ram You don't need to be rude. This was actually played in the original Phantom of the Opera movie which a lot of people mistake as Dracula so I'd assume that's where the title comes from.

  • This is much better with the organ.

  • Doesn't it sound dull on a piano! You would be better off getting Hauptwerk and a keyboard, at least it would sound something like it should even if you couldn't do the pedals. I like the enthusiasm though.

  • no the piano version can be just as beautiful when played correctly, but unfortunately he left out notes and is not playing up to tempo and forgot rests between the harmonics in the beginning, it could be much better, he played the right notes, and the the staccato needs to be done with one hand.

  • I am one of the 82 people who have liked your wonderful piano music.

I also know it's supposed to be best heard on an organ, but I thoroughly enjoyed your rendition of J.S. Bach's Toccata on the piano.

    Well done!! :)

  • you fucking faggot. this song isn't called "dracula".eve to have your nuts smashed

  • Most of the comments here seem to be quite negative but I think you play really well. You just need to find an organ =P

  • A piano can never capture the true feeling of this piece.

  • hahaha lol XD

  • whoever calls this "Dracula" or "Phantom of the Opera" is an idiot

  • @rspantikow I agree :S

  • Dracula?? What does Dracula has to do with this piece? Good Job though.

  • Nice feeling, that alot of players lack. Too bad about the mistakes.

  • seriously :D ?

  • this makes me laugh *seriously* hahahahaha

  • roztrojone pianino ....

  • This kid is pretty good considering the sad instrument and its tuning....and that this is an organ piece...Get this kid a decent instrument and a tuner. Deserves 5 stars non the less..

  • ahahahah

  • This piece was most certainly meant for the organ! More than that, I woudl dare say that the organ and all it brings to the piece virtually make the organ a part of the piece just as much as the chords and notes themselves! I love the Bach Toccata and Fugue....

Found a great rendition on organ in a different key at:

    watch? v=CTVraVgzC9U

  • Actually this piece was originaly meant for cello, but it contained notes a cello could never reach

So bach rewrote it for organ

  • If u EVER call it a Dracula toccatta again, I'll rip ur throat out. Fangs alot!!!

  • i could strangle you for the name.....jk jk. But I as an organist take this to offense as the "dracula" toccata. IT is one of te four great Toccatas and Fugues by Bach. Also, the interpertaion.

  • Hahah -D

  • nvm only the beginning

  • a bit slow isn't it? but still nice

  • it sounds amazing on an organ.

  • omg being looking for this song everywere

  • Yeah me 2 love it!

  • haha

  • i wanna the sheet music anyone can say me where i got it?

  • that was very good. i want to learn how to play this.

  • nice work!

  • Look at the Busoni transcription! This is so poor...

  • It's not a transcription, dumbass. It's the original notes, written by Bach for organ. I just play it on piano without playing the pedals.

  • Yes, I know....but without pedal lines and without the big organ sound the music sounds poor and incomplete....piano transcriptios are the only way to play this great pieces on piano!

  • If you wanna hear it on an organ, check out one of my other movies.

  • @peoplepictures that's exactly why it needs to be transcribed.

  • @peoplepictures you are weirdo bloke i dont think you play out the soul, someone stand behind you point gun to your head

  • O_O COME SUONARE CHOPIN ALL'ORGANO

  • awesome!!!

  • and what happens to the next part?

  • I'm still in the learning process concerning the fugue. Maybe I'll have learnt it by next year

  • All I can remember is that it's in D minor with some kind of accidental, right?

  • where can i get the notes for this piece w/o having to pay for sheet music?

  • aaahhhh

    orgasmic <3

  • One beat to many or not, I think your rendition is really cool.

    Very inspirational, Peoplepictures.

As a lover of Bach keyboard since my chidhood, I think I'll get the sheet music and tackle this toccata myself.:)

    Ron.

    ( ;-} >

  • thanx.

If you're going to play it yourself, here's a tip: study each toccatic sequens individualy, before tying them together.

  • why does it say Dracula in the title?

  • In old Dracula movies from like the thirties Dracula always plays this piece. It's sort of became a stereotype dracula piece since then.

  • Yeah. Clayderman did a combination of his, Bach's, and Tchaikovsky's work into a piece named "Bach Gammon."

But this is the original by Bach though :)

  • where can i get sheet music for this

i am grade 4 piano and can sight read etc. but i am tone deaf lol

  • The catalog number of this piece is BWV 565, so you should be able to find it fairly easily under that.

  • Beautiful.

  • with the ascending triplets starting on C sharp youre playing a beat too many...

  • I know, but the mistake has formed into a habit...

  • since when has it been called the toccata fuge!!!!

  • its been called Toccata and Fugue since Bach composed it Smart one

  • since 1704

  • that was pretty good dude
