@larrywanders Ok, I deleted it because I thought it was a stupid question, because of course lots of words in english are simular to dutch since they are both germanic languages.
@Napoleon501ste I didn't think it was a stupid question. I searched over 2 hours and could not find a definitive answer to your original question. Now you have me curious :P
@Santaclausemikey Under our Constitution, a roll call vote (each Senator called name by name) must be held if demanded by one-fifth of a quorum of Senators present, a minimum of 11.
In this instance, the roll call vote was demanded to affirm each Senator's vote was recorded and present to cast their vote.
Congress, both the House and Senate, along with President Obama ignore the wishes of the American people. Over 1/2 of the citizens want no part of this "reform".
Yes this is a dark day for the United States of America when those elected to represent us do as they damn well please despite what we continue to tell them.

Why do they have to ask each person for their vote, In the parliament of the European Union, we vote electronically. It takes up less time.

True. As a working American, why should I pay for those who don't or won't work so they can have free health insurance?
Want better health insurance? Get off your lazy ass and work for it.
