L4D Achievements - Easy way to obtain Untouchables and Nothing Special

I recently got the untouchables acheivement and I have no fucing idea how.I was playing the sacrifice finale.I was the one who sacrificed myself.Here's the weird part.When going from the bridge to the generator,I got beaten half to death by zombies.BUT I STILL GOT THE ACHEIVEMENT!! NO I DID NOT USE CHEATS.I PLAY ON THE PC.

well to be honest left 4 dead on the pc doesn't seem so much fun whit all the hacks i mean for real wheres the fun i play on xbox no cheats ( do use buggs but those are in the game ) best way for Untouchables is no mercy the jezus room and that ledge aren't the only 2 spots where you are bieng left alone just think about it where is the challenge whit fly/godmode/ inf ammo ......

i did most hard acheivments like melee hunter when pouncing and headshot him when pouncing though ON THE 360 AND I DONT GOT XBOX LIVE and kill tank and witch without damage to any one i just got hard acheivments for some reason either im a good player or its something else i didnt do untouchables its just the so hardest acheivment ever

@jjhays36 Actually, Nothing Special and Expert are the hardest ones.

You can easily obtain Untouchables if you have 3 other players who aren't idiots.

I almost got mine, but my friend fucked it up right at the end, I was so pissed.

@vdiaz621 People really do have a hard time reading? When L4D was first released, activing cheats didn't disable achievements like it does now. Regardless I got my achievements on death toll not using this method ;)

I got lucky when I got my Untouchables. It was BH5, and I found a total of 4 pipe bombs in the farm house, along with the one I had, for a total of 5. Just used 1 each for each wave (Begin Finale - Wave, Wave, Tank, Wave, Wave, Tank, Wave & Tank for the rescue vehicle.)

It was pure luck.

Nothing special isn't hard whatsoever. If you get hit, you can just die and it resets it.

You've got to laugh... thanks to these "gay console commands" you can break the game wide open and have so much more fun and content that console players can't really access.

Anyway, 360 owners can get every achievement with 1 button press if they know what to do, so don't complain.

There can still be problems with getting things like Nothing Special. Firstly you have to make sure you see the opening start, any lag and you won't be able to get it.

Also make sure to turn cheats off before ending a level/finale or starting the finale.

I've personally tested the console cheat system and can confirm this method still works.

i turned cheats on at the start of all levels and turned it off just before closing the safe room door. I did this till the finale. In the finale i kept cheats on till the rescue vehicle finally arrived. Once it arrived i turned cheats off then rushed towards the vehicle. Since it was a single player game i saw the opening start. Still didnt get achievement.

Did you have cheats turned off when you contacted the vehicle? That may be the problem. You have to make sure cheat mode is off before using the radio.

Failing that then I find it weird why its not working. I recently tested the system and it doesn't appear to have changed.

easy enugh, have 4 assault riles, 2 molotovs, 2 pipeboms, and lots of gascans, move to the back of the map, all the way into the wall, stand there, mow down everything, watch out for smokers, kill tanks fast (do it on easy for easymode) and when plane is full, just run towards it, throw a pipe bomb in each dirrection away from the plane and viola. done deal

One of the best ways nowadays for 360 players to get these achievements is abusing one of the jesus rocks on the side of death toll.

But even so, a good team can still easily get untouchables simply using the house in death toll.

Another way to do this is actually noclip into the rescue vehicle on Dead Air, teleport the survivors there, and smile. You might have a couple tank problems though. You can use the kicking function for them I think....Not sure.

you can also get on top of the plane that rescues you, you have to know how to move objects, just move a cart in between the plane and the truck in front of the plane and you can get on the plane :)

Alot of things don't make sense in video games and this game is set out as a "movie" aswell ;) If anything it could be to do with the pitch of the sounds like gunfire won't attract a hoarde but a pipe bomb will.
