  • Yeaaaaah buuudddaaayy!!!!

  • how do you train right hand speed? I have difficulties on that part :( I practise a lot, but somehow i don't get the speed up while staying acurate on the strings... is it a tecnique i am missing???

thanks for your vids, they are cool!!!

  • @Pgs3000

i already did many many videos about picking

    just search.

  • A quick question... when you do this lick what is a good extension apart from the g aelian or b aeolian ?? =]

  • @JorgeGuitarJaming

    extension?? i don't get it..please explain

  • @tziras sorry i didnt mean to say aeolian but just a simple extention to start from to make the lick a bit tastier, like for examplle the extended minor pentatonic scale ,that you start a whole step down and slide to the scale and maybe end up extending farther kinda like going all side to side on the neck it and if it isnt too much to ask a good lesson would be the extentions of certain modes, but if you cant its all good well thank you so much keep up the nice work

  • @JorgeGuitarJaming

i will do something similar but it will take some time

before that i have to do some licks in the styles of guitarists

  • @tziras very nice I will wait, while learning guitarists styles thats pretty cool ok thanks man

  • Crazy fast! Awesome licks once again! Thx again \m/

  • eisai 8eos!!!!!... ta video sou einai gamata!!! great job!!!!!

  • Why do I see this as A Phrygian - G Dorian - A Phrygian - B Lydian ?....I could be looking too far into it. I just can't help but see the mode represented by the degree used. Thanks for another great video..

  • @MegaRain8

you can "see" each mode the way suits you

  • @tziras I am confused, though. Should I be playing the same pattern even during the G chord and B chord? It seems to sound off key when I do. As long as I am following the root, I can use Dorian for the G and Lydian for B, (atleast in this iii-ii-iii-IV progression)?

  • @MegaRain8

this lick is on 'A Aeolian"

you are trying to do easy things complicated

  • @tziras Indeed, I am. I just didn't think that A aeolian mode should be fused with the G and B Aeolian (if you are playing the same pattern from each degree). I am far below you in theory understanding, obviously. Am I wrong for utilizing the mode that is applicable to the degree?..I'll send a PM to inhibit excess commenting. Thanks, dude.

  • @MegaRain8

yes..you area wrong, try to keep things simple

the whole lick has no sharps, no flats..

The root is "A", so it is a Aeolian (no G Mixolydian etc)

  • @MegaRain8 E Phrygian D Dorian E Phrygian B Lydian is what I meant to list as the corresponding modes in the first comment. I'll send you a FB message....

  • @tziras Have you got any good ideas for getting a good tone with the podx3? I was trying to fake the "Number of the beast" tone, but i simply just didn't get it, because the pod gives me an amount of gain, which is too much

  • @Night1989

  • Have you ever heard about Ibanez JPM P1?

  • @RedEvil150

    yes...

  • @tziras This guitar looks like JPM P1. Was it an intention for that?

  • @RedEvil150

  • @CallOfDuty14ful

    sorry ..no tab available

  • Mr. Theodore, I learnt the pattern bu whenever i goto 120 BPM, my wrist gives away, i do not know whther this is a fault in technique but my picking hand just stops. can u suggest some exercises for the picking hand..:|

  • @epitomedcadaver

    check my alternate picking lessons

  • Awesome lesson! You have a great sound in the intro song, are you using Line6 devices? I have a Line6 Head and 4/12 cabinet, but I can't quite get a tone like that, maybe I should invest in a POD? Thanks for a great lesson, I always love finding your new lessons in my subscriptions!

  • @032000009

my sound comes from POD X3

  • youre amazing as always T ! :) The ending lick was really cool too ! :)

  • @Lavietto Yeah I like the part where he licked my shaft at the end also. My bell ends never been so clean.

  • u r great!

  • Mr. Ziras. I am wondering if you give tutorials on songs? If you do sir..I am having trouble with the song "Midnight Rain" by Vinnie Moore. If you are not familiar with the song you can search for it on Youtube. I do know that it is tuned down 1/2 step..just like the rest of the CD. Please if you can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

  • @ducky811

    i know this song

but i am doing song-tutorials for songs that are very well known....

otherwise there is no point for me to do it

  • @tziras Hello Master Ziras !! Great lesson as always !! I´d like ask you something ...

I noticed that you use the neck pick up for playing arpeggios ( and it sounds great btw ) , but where else can i use the bridge pick up ?

  • @VanishaGlamChick6

    for "fat" sound

  • @tziras I understand. Thank you for responding anyway. Just wanted to ask anyways. I really learn from your videos and thank you for taking the time to post them. Best wishes and happy holidays.

  • @guitarj92

    this is the most important....

to inspire you to go and grab your guitar

  • 200bpm..."It's really tough".... oh yeah, it IS! fuck... impressive!

  • Although I'm not into this kind of music, thank you Theodore.

You're helping a lot of people for free.

  • @DeathBringer769

  • @MrCocuphy

  • Hooooly shit... :O

  • why is alternate picking necessary?

  • @megandeziz

    it is not necessary...

you can do it only if it suits you...

  • @tziras thank you Sir i was trying to force upon alternate picking on myself

  • Comment removed
