I'm an American. I'm a 16 year-old girl and I have perfectly fine grammar. I'm sick of people making the assumption that ALL Americans are stupid. "ALL Americans are fatass people that eat McDonalds. They ALL have an I.Q. below 10. They ALL know nothing about their government. They ALL can't spell." When I question them, they say dumb stuff such as yeah sure the French revolution was a huge success! When I ask them about the three subsequent French revolutions in the 19th c., they think I am hallucinating. A lot of poor European kids know more than you'd think, about geography, history, the three Rs. That's why I teach in France. It's not pointless.
