I'm not sure, but I think one of the MM2 ports had an exploitable glitch where you could get multiple plusses on your chars by completing those tasks multiple times^^ the robbers usually ended up with 15 plusses or so... the game would only display 3 of them, I think, but you'd keep getting 5M XP^^
The spectators probably just cheered and 'had great marvel' when you take down the Dread Knight; that's usually what they do in the old mediaeval romances. Maybe some of the ladies swoon, too.

Thanks! I was wondering what the thing said. I just skipped over it on accident. Used to clearing the money screen by slapping accept.
