Let's be honest, none of you really know what actually constitutes excessive force. You may have an opinion but from your posts I can tell you that you're dead wrong. People die quite commonly from what's called POSITIONAL ASPHYXIA, whereby the position in which a person is restrained causes them to asphyxiate. There are very few ways of preventing this when someone is fighting, assuming that the officers are actually trained up on this. And police use knees on back of necks quite frequently.

The RCMP is corrupt. It has been revealed today that Mr. Robert Dziekański had been tasered even 5 times. The RCMP has lied from the very beginning. The police officers are now been cleared of criminal charges even though by looking at the video tapes it is obvious that there had been excessive use of force that killed this man. It's a clear case of manslaughter, but it's sad that in Canada there is no justice for everyone.

The police force people into positions where they are now legally allowed to use force. They do this by cornering or preying on the emotions of an upset person. Once the person has said or done something that the police can use as an excuse to use force, they take action and they go the whole way. I'm not naming them all, but by first hand experience, I swear there is no lie in what I'm saying.
