Jeez, I've been feverishly looking for this song for so long but couldn't find it...I'd only hear it once in a while on the local station for older folks. Haha, I don't care about listening to such a station...guys can't sing like this any more. I don't get why guys don't have classy voices like this nowadays.
I grew up with my parents listening to Sinatra, Williams, Como, Mathis, and Cole. I had never heard of Matt Monro. Then on 9/11, I was grounded and driving across the states and tuned into an oldies station. This song came on and I absolutely loved what I was hearing...I had to pull over and write down the artist and song so I wouldn't forget. Since that time I've come to love Matt Monro but this song remains my favorite of all his music.
