I think he needs to just forgive her if they aren't back together. What's the point of holding a grudge over something like that? She was trying to move on but it just wasn't as far as you would have liked. Either way you should be thinking about the future. She is now going to be family one way or another and you will be an uncle to that baby. If anything I would tell your cousin to be the bigger man and take care of that baby. Gotta think about the future and not the past. That's my two cents.

He must forgive her. To not forgive her is to burn the bridge over which he himself must cross. YES, what she did was messed up, especially if she knew this was his cousin. But if they broke up and there was a space of a year between, then I say, the relationship with his cousin is legal. Myself, I would make myself scarce around them. But that's just me.

When a couple splits up, each person can date others w/out facing moral condemnation. Even if that other is a relative of the ex. The former couple no longer has a relationship-based hold on each other. The woman in this case prob dated her ex's cousin b/c the cousin reminded her of the ex. Prob not a good move psychologically, but she was free to follow her own heart. The dude asking the ques shld either be a friend or just leave his ex alone. Holding the pregnancy over her head is just cruel.

So even though a relationship ended, there is also the risk of a familial bond being severed as a result of the two choosing to engage in a relationship. She couldn't even answer him, which to me, leads me to believe that even she felt as if she'd done something wrong, otherwise she would have defended her actions. She moved on and even though it isn't as far as you would like it to be, she did. So, just do the same and move on but further then what she did.
