I can pretty much guarantee that no professional uses these headphones. They would use a flat-response set. Surely not Beats that have overpowering, muddy bass with terrible mids and highs. You can get a much better set of cans from more respected brands.

Beats are not at all the most "prestigious" headphones. They're style headphones and they sound awful... You do realize that beats are notorious for sounding terrible, despite the crazy price tag. The highs are practically non existent, the mids are god awful, and the bass is loose and bloated. Its a terrible muddy audio experience.

you can't compare headphones to earbuds.. of course they're gunna be louder, if earbuds were that loud you'd literally deafen yourself. Either way, sound quality isn't determined by loudness, it's by clarity so i don't see any point in that comparison. i have no doubt that the beats are better but i mean how much more expensive are the beats?
