It's not that it's bad, it's that it could be whole a lot better, the animation is somewhat on a low scale visually and the voice recording quality is so bad i honestly couldn't take it anymore.

Thanks for the feedback, on both ends. This short was an experiment for me and only my second animation. The vocals on this bugs me as well as does the pacing, comedic timing etc. I've learned alot from this short and have improved in certain areas on some of my newer projects. It's all a learning experience. The animation is stiff and awkward on purpose, I think it adds to the comedy similar to how south parks stiff animation adds to the shows comedy. Regardless, thanks for watching.

I am a huge fan. But, the Artie character while its based on Artie from the Stern Show, was not intended to be a parody of him and not supposed to actually be 'Artie Lange'. I needed someone to fit the role of a fat beer guzzling couch potato and I thought he would fit the character. I really was just going for the look and I thought 'Artie' would be a funny name for the main character.

Yes, its a great find, and the records your friend has is probably worth a hundred or two dollars if its in mint condition and still has the cover for it.

If I remember my history correctly, during the late 30's and 40's welfare was a huge political hot button. And thats where many of these type songs emerged from.
