A Nice history you have with Rayman, mind you, the only platforms I have played Rayman on are the PlayStation line of consoles and the PC, AND I LOVE THE SNOWBOARDING MUSIC! Finally, I could only beat rayman 1 through passwords, and also, when I played through it myself, I used the up, down, right, left cheat ENOUGH TIMES, It was unbelievable, the difficulty of the first game, but the others rectified it

I'm a huge Rayman fan too! The first Rayman game was kinda hard, but very funny, so I rate it 8/10. Rayman 2 was my favourite part of the classic Rayman saga. It had many of my favourite Rayman characters and music, plus epic boss battles, and I played it 'til the end, so I rate it 10/10. Rayman 3 was also good. Good graphics, new powers, new villains and some new/returning friends. I rate it 9/10.

I still remember when I was 9 years old and I randomly choose Rayman 2 while I was buying PS1 games... the second VG choice that cahnged my life...

6 and a half years old, my older brother downloaded a sega genesis emulator, that came with a Sonic 3 & Knuckles rom, at that age I didn't knew who was Sonic... playing it was my first VG choice

It wasn't the first game to have more than one player! There were a lot of gamesbefore it that had more than one player!

I coincidentally played the games in the same order you did! Here's my thoughts:

Rayman 1 - I loved a lot about. Even now, it's still my favorite side-scroller. The one thing that nearly killed it was the fact you needed to break all of the cages to get to the last level. 8/10

Rayman 2 - I played the PS2 remake well before the original, and that's why I like it way better. It's my favorite game of all time. It does everything right - perfect soundtrack, great controls, and great gameplay. 10/10

Rayman 3 - This one, I'm just not sure what to say. I liked it all in all, but unlike you, I thought this one was weak in the music category. I was also not a fan of the sudden change in mood. That's not to say I still LOVED it. It was very entertaining! 8/10

Rayman M/Arena - A lot of people disliked this game, but I LOVE it. Controls were great, the music fit well, and I loved the weapons. 9/10

Like you, my friend and I got HYPED after Rayman 4 was announced!
