Dean Elliott was not also the composer for the animated theatrical Tom and Jerry shorts for Chuck Jones,but he was also the composer for a variety of specials and animated cartoons including composing the themes to "Thundarr The Barbarian","Return to the Planet of the Apes",and composer for a lot of animated specials including "The Cat In The Hat". He was part jazz and soul and his grooves were tight in sound!
WTTV Channel 4 in Indianapolis used this as theme music for "Lunchtime Theatre" when I was in grade school. Great to hear it again!

Actually, I believe that this is from Incredibly Strange Music, Volume 1. It's track 3.
For those of you from Glitches and Silly stuff, the rest of the soundtrack in that video is also from ISM.
