  • Cool uploads but, this sequencing is too hard to follow and keep up with.

  • It's actually a rerun from USA's afternoon game show lineup. ;-)

  • OooooooooKAY! :]

  • NICE.... :-D

  • $25,050??? Wow, that means that in the previous episode, she totally tanked the $10,000 try and then won the $25,000. That's the only way that works mathematically.

  • What a good game that was. Every celebrity i've een so far on this version knows how to play the game; Lois (R.I.P) has no showing rust from her days in New York, Richard is doing his best. Mari is someone who looks like she could be a good match for the women who set the winner's circle record with Billy Crystal. To bad for Lois' team that they couldn't get the simple but tricky words though.

  • I also noticed something else about Richard Moll here: Not only did he appear on this show with his full head of hair but at the same time in 1985 he also appeared on a week's worth of episodes of Super Password w/ a head full of hair w/ his Night Court co-star Markie Post as well.

  • Did the $100,000 Pyramid debut yet at this time?

  • I think they started videotaping The $100,000 Pyramid in May of '85.

  • I didn't know Richard Moll (Bull Shannon from Night Court) appeared on the $25K Pyramid?!

I know he also appeared on another '80s CBS GS in "Body Langauge" about two or three times in 1984 and/or 1985.

  • Pause quickly at the beginning and you'll see that flashback win had a BLUE Winner's Circle trilon!

  • Yep, and I even recognize the two celebrities. The first clip is Patty Duke (circa 1983), and the 2nd clip is "The Love Boat"s Fred Grandy (from the last week of 1982, his only time on the 1982-1988 version).

  • Their episodes were reran on Game Show Network back in 2000.

  • Love Lois Nettleton!! I miss her... RIP.

Though it is WEIRD to see her on the 80s version...she fit better in the 70s version.

She still seems to have a knack for landing the bonuses!

  • I didn't even know she was dead...when did she pass away?

  • she passed away very earlier this year.

  • Awesome! A non-GSN episode of "Pyramid" keep it up.

  • You ready for Monday, man? 1985-86 season of The $25,000 Pyramid starts on the 30th! :-) Bet you're psyched, right?

  • You bet I'm ready!

What about your videos, though? You haven't uploaded a new video in almost 4 months. I'd really like to see the rest of the Dick Clark Tourney episodes.

  • I've been having some disc burning problems lately, but I'll be back up and running in just about a week or so. You guys haven't seen the last of me! ;-) Btw, do you think this means GSN may convert the rest of the 1983-84 season of daytime Pyramid?

  • I think they already have 1983-1984 converted. A promo for the show that GSN did back in 2002 showed "Dallas"' Ken Kercheval in the Winner's Circle with the white WC boxes.

  • And adding to that, the white goose-necked microphones, too. :)

  • You think maybe GSN will show those episodes one day? I really would love to see the week with Shelley Smith and Bill Cullen, too. That would be awesome...

  • I'm sure one day they will.

Blame USA Network's Golf preemptions as the reason why that week got skipped. Remember when USA would do that?

  • God, do I? I would get so pissed off when they did that. You'd get all psyched up for Pyramid and then... PGA Golf. Ugh.... Get ready to relive the old days of USA again, though. March 30th is gonna rock! :-)

  • The Shelley Smith & Bill Cullen isn't my only highly sought-after week from 1983-1984. So is the Didi Conn & Richard Gilliland week (from 11/21). In the early 90's, unlike GSN, USA Network had a policy of skipping over any weeks of shows that had less than 5 episodes. And that week was one of them. Although the episode guide states that it was a 3-show week, another source states that it was only a 2-show week (that week had the anniversary of Kennedy's death, Thanksgiving, and TPIR).

  • Continued from above.

There may have been one or two unaired episodes from that week, but until GSN gets the 1983-1984 episodes, we may never know for sure.

P.S. I've never heard of Richard Gilliland. What is he best known for?

  • Richard Gilliland had a reoccurring role as Mary Jo Shively's (Annie Potts) husband on CBS's Designing Woman in the late '80s and early '90s. :-)
