Jeremy was a Blitz Club kid at a very early age, getting into the start of the New Romantic thing. Then "The Face" Magazine was launched in 1980 and they did a feature on Jeremy in 1981 because he'd grown dreadlocks and was looking kind of interesting. The feature in the Face enabled him to "blag" some recording time at EMI, so he got together with Kate Garner and Paul Caplin - he was sharing their flat at the time, and formed Haysi Fantayzee.

This was on the first TOTP I ever taped and I still have it. At the tender age of twenty I was spell bound by Kate especially when she pouts at the camera in the closing scene. I found Jeremy rather terrifying and the two of them worked very well together in what is quite a unique song.
