if the kings had the #1 pick, tyreke wouldnt have even come to mind so dont believe evrything gavin says.
---
lol? gavin never said he would, if kings won lottery for example, they would have traded down a few to get evans and add a few pieces. Dont act like you know everything
I love Tyreke, but this is hilarious Maloof going off stammering over himself sounding like a bitter old man at the city council meeting with a parking ticket almost spitting out his dentures at the podium.
this guy is gunna play point. he played point for the majority of the season at memphis last year. It is great to have him as a point because it will create mismatches when you have a guy that in almost 6'6 running the point against guys that are 6'2, 6'3.
gavin though. he needs to cool it. the last thing kings fans need is another let down. the fact is, he is not a blake griffin. if the kings had the #1 pick, tyreke wouldnt have even come to mind so dont believe evrything gavin says.
I kind of wanted Rubio as well. We'll have to see if we regret it. Evans is not a true point guard. One thing is for sure, however. With out current picks the Kings are soft no more. We are going to have the ability to muscle teams in the paint. Martin will be freed up a lot more.
why would you even question Petrie's pick? In the 2007 draft, name one player besides Kevin Durant that went before Hawes who's going to be better than Hawes. Not one can I find. Tyreke, PG or not a PG, would play a lot better at the point than Udrih. Rubio isn't even guaranteed to stay in the US.

This pick is just horrible. "Fastest of the court sprint" isn't going to win you a title. Sacramento Kings needed a PG not a SG. HORRIBLE pick, and the Kings are retarded for picking him.
Gavin, you are just tired of the truth. you guys have been rebuilding since you bought the team you schmuck.

Gavin keep it up, one of these you'll believe your own line of BS. maybe you should go back to hotel college you spoiled brat.

Uhm. To Gavin.
You said: Give him some time (tyreke)
Time? you're so wrong at that. 1 year, he's already playing like a hall of famer. :))

I'm sure there were more than a few fans at Arco that day wondering why Sac didn't go with Rubio. And wondering no more.
Sometimes, Gavin's enthusiasm seems a bit over the top, but this time, he was dead on right.

Here's a shot at the kings from a now former fan Gavin:
Quit faking your enthusiasm and make an attempt at actually building a team your fans can be proud of. It should have started with drafting Rubio.

Guys when Tyreke Evans moved from shooting guard to point guard in college, they won 27 straight games.
TSFP 2 years ago 3
He did that so that Memphis would need one less pass to get him the ball so he could jack up his shot. He's no distributor.

Kings should of gotten Ricky Rubio or Stephen Curry...:(

oh god gavin...... the team needed a POINT GUARD, not another shooting guard who will be forced to play the point.
