Ever scence my daddy showed me this song ive always thought of it being it my father daughter dance at my wedding.... im not sure why but i thought it would be pretty
@bookgirl1976 Not morbid at all. Telling a child to go forth with joy in their heart, and promising them that they will overcome, are the best legacies to leave to them when you pass.
@Vagrarian Thanks :) When I have them all together, I'll play it to them even though they might not understand. Methinks I need to make a good old fashioned mix tape for them.
My uncle is the best iv heard an I hope him the best an keep writen these songs for everyone. We love our family in our house. will ur great keep going!
man, I hadn't heard of WEW until I saw him open for Chris Cornell this past weekend. I went three nights in three cities and now I'm on a quest to get all of Whitmore's CD's. I absolutely love this song!
I have not heard ONE song of his that I don't love. He is one of the premier artists of the day and I can't believe I just found him. I love his work and can't get enough of it. I am emailing and calling everyone I know who loves music and telling them about him. Thank you for posting.
I had the information on my old computer. Unfortunatly it crashed before I could upload any credit to the artist in the video discription. Any info is sadly lost.
@Sopkrula@BrianCr I was curious too, so I looked it up on Tin Eye-- it's "To hide from a storm" by Lizard King: photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5537070
All people who viewed this video have a good taste for music :)

Sounds morbid, but I want this played at my funeral. It's a song I'm going to share with my nephews in an uncertain world.
