I'm not denying the fact that he had issues. I mean, he was abusing prescription drugs. That is probably due to the fact that people and the media were spreading lies/rumors about him. I don't believe MJ was a child molester. He was abused as a child and that affected him. I don't think he had it in him to harm a child. In the aftermath of Jackson's death Bashir has publically stated that he didn't believe Jackson behaved inappropriately towards any children and that his motives, albeit strange, were entirely innocent. This has nothing to do with it man, Bashir used MJ to create controversy. He cut lots of footage that showed Jackson in a good light and said he thought Neverland was dangerous for kids. He made this whole documentary to look like MJ could really be a pedophile. Whether this stuff was true or not, we'll never know. But the way the documentary was deliberately tweaked by Bashir, simply didn't make MJ any favors in trying to clear his name at the time, that's why we trash him.

I think Martin Bashir (the interviewer) indirectly killed not only Michael Jackson but also Princess Diana. In this documentary his controversial nitpicking at how he treats children exposed a court case that made him dependant on drugs, which eventually caused his death. With Princess Diana, he asked questions that caused Di to speak ill of the royal family to the extent that the MI6 or SAS (no-one will ever know really) to flash a blinding light and kill Diana.

I'm not denying the fact that he had issues. I mean, he was abusing prescription drugs. That is probably due to the fact that people and the media were spreading lies/rumors about him. Had he gotten the help he needed, maybe he'd still be alive. Conrad Murray never helped him, and as his doctor, he should have. MJ was a good guy. He had his flaws (just like ALL of us do), but that's no excuse to call him a child rapist, or a bad father, etc. Because he was a celeb, his flaws were noticed more.

I don't believe MJ was a child molester. He was abused as a child and that affected him. I don't think he had it in him to harm a child. He cared for children the way the way a father would care for a child. He wanted to give underprivileged kids a chance at being a kid. That's something A LOT of celebrities could care less about. Michael TRULY wanted to make the world a better place for everyone. He had a good heart, but unfortunately, the media/tabloids turned him into a 'monster.'

In the aftermath of Jackson's death Bashir has publically stated that he didn't believe Jackson behaved inappropriately towards any children and that his motives, albeit strange, were entirely innocent. It proves what a vile character he is when he was willing to sit on these opinions and ride the publicity brought about by the controversy he created here to further his career. He inadvertently ruined this mans life and contributed to the addiction that killed him. He should be ashamed.

This has nothing to do with it man, Bashir used MJ to create controversy. He cut lots of footage that showed Jackson in a good light and said he thought Neverland was dangerous for kids. He made this whole documentary to look like MJ could really be a pedophile. Whether this stuff was true or not, we'll never know. But the way the documentary was deliberately tweaked by Bashir, simply didn't make MJ any favors in trying to clear his name at the time, that's why we trash him.

I think Martin Bashir (the interviewer) indirectly killed not only Michael Jackson but also Princess Diana. In this documentary his controversial nitpicking at how he treats children exposed a court case that made him dependant on drugs, which eventually caused his death. With Princess Diana, he asked questions that caused Di to speak ill of the royal family to the extent that the MI6 or SAS (no-one will ever know really) to flash a blinding light and kill Diana.

From what I get from Michael, he had major issues. His personal life was nowhere near normal (the friendship with the monkey, making his property into an amusement park for kids, the surgeries), but judging from his childhood, I don't think he could've ever brought himself to harm a child either physically or sexually having been subjected to so much abuse himself as a child.
