I don't know much about Greek Orthodox or Russian Orthodox religious music, but for some reason this music seems to me that it might be inspired by one or the other of those traditions ? Of course I know that Vangelis is Greek.

Extraordinary video for this great piece from Greece's own maestro! Composer of film music such as Chariots of Fire, Blade Runner, The Bounty and many many more. He was to be the keyboardist of Yes, but Rick Wakeman from The Strawbs took his place (perhaps all for the better...) Thanks!
