If you want music that is talented and deserves more respect listen to classical, jazz, or opera. Those require 10 time the talent any rock/metal band has. Electronic is a bunch of audio sounds done on a computer but thats beside the point. Most genres today have guitars drums, and vocals, throw bass in there some way. I am not hating on rock as it's my favorite genre i am just stating reality. Music will never peak in creativity like it did in the 1920s and 1930s.
