watched in 1080p. holy. crap. I really want to project this onto a blank wall or something. It's absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing this breathtaking view with us.
it kills me to brainstorm on HOW he can make the camera move during timelapse....like the first footage, the scenery is soo sharp and clear but the camera is still moving upwards....doing it manually would have seen the twitches....but i dont think it's a program either.....tell me mockmoon2000..how did u do it?
@ClaytonChan If you speak Japanese, his blog describes his technique. Basically he uses an expensive telescope mount with a motor. Because amateur astronomers sometimes take extremely long exposures, the telescope needs to move as the sky moves in order to track the same object. I don't know how these devices work exactly but they can be automatically programmed to move and track stellar objects. Or in this case, to move slowly in whatever way you want over a medium to long period of time.
Wouldn't life be more beautiful if, after a long of travelling, going to school or work, we come back home, lie down in our backyard and be able to just look up at the beautiful sky filled with all those stars that the universe has given to us?
We would wonder why we argued over that 5 dollars, why we cried over that so-so exam, or why we cursed over that 5 minute delay in traffic...
I have a question for you and i hope you will reply. If not then what ever . Anyways here is my question
when doing time lapse how long are your exposures and what interval and how to you manage to keep the exposure constant throu out the video . Imagine yor self shooting from day to night and how will you cope up with the aperture>? Any advice?
Did anyone else notice at around 0:35 a little green dot moving very slowly left from the right hand corner of the screen? I wonder what that was, it didn't go as fast as a satellite or a plane, but ti definitely didn't seem to be a star. Anybody got a clue what it was?
I was so happy when I signed on to Youtube and found this in my subscription box :). It's been so long since I saw one of your videos. This is stunning, as always. You always capture the most breathtaking footage. Thank you!
It is a very beautiful and wonderful animation.
May I borrow this animation?
