Buyer agents represent themselves. IMHO.

@jvolstad misses the point. Assuming all things equal, a buyer is much better off working with someone that has pledged loyalty to the buyer than would be the case otherwise. You can choose to be either be a customer of an agent or a client of an agent. There is a world of difference!!
