Sloths can't walk, and they have to drag themselves forward with their claws if they have to move on the ground. In the trees they are graceful. Because of human interference with their environment they unfortunately are seen on the ground like this to find new trees. They have evolved to live slowly and are the coolest animals EVER. :)
