  • your bags probably smell like my grandpas basement...

    THATS A GOOD THING!!!

  • He seems like such a nice guy.

His gear is amazing and incredibly unique. One of the best "What's In The Bag" videos on this channel IMO.

  • @TroubleshQQter Actually they had to worry about them a lot more back then. You couldn't push film the way you can with digital files, and you have to manually calculate exposure.

It's a ton more difficult than using the newer gear.

  • fantastic, thanks for sharing.

  • I have a 4x5 polaroid back and i am wondering if i can use the fuji instant film on that back? Please help mee! :)

  • The latest video gives you an insight into Jim's history and his feelings about the photographic medium.

  • Believe me not only old guys love old cameras :) and feeling the true spirit of photography doesent depend on age :) Thank for authors for sharing this video series. Can't wait for next parts...

  • Old guy likes old cameras? I guess so but this old-school gear is freaking awesome

  • Very cool to see a REAL photographer that still uses film. I love digital photography and it's much easier, but I have to admit that the colortones are much more realistic on film, specially for landscapes or portraits (skintones).

  • why is the film not being kept in a refrigerator?

  • Very cool ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • And I complaint when carrying my 1DMKIII whole day in my bag ... pff Mister I respect you!

  • Cool equipment! :p But i was wondering how he gets the film on his pc to edit it, and if he doesnt edit, how does he print it big? I'm a real noob with film so... :p

  • @joeperrrr All of that is coming up in the next videos. Very cool system. Not an easy, but brilliantly thought out.
