I think by the time Mary Hart joined later in 1982, they got rid of the first ET mic flag in favor of a better one that would last until 1999.

I forgot they used to have the Enterprise in the ET opening. Its good to be Paramount Pictures. :)

It's still on to this day, only it's now known simply as the weekend edition of "Entertainment Tonight."
