I don't think there was any great song the Beatles didn't know or wouldn't jam to. What they did after mastering any song was to find chords that weren't being used in the popular spectrum and work them into any simple progression to give them another edge. I'm sure they had Les Paul's chord book. Sounds that satisfied the hungry ear for something new. I'd like to hear their version of "Running Bear and Little White Dove". Sure they knew it and did it, but probably not out there for us.
