  • Kennedy was a total Marxist, listen to that crap comming out of his mouth..."No one person could develop the Tenn. Valley." No but free people can get together to develop it for a profit.....

  • The contrasts with today's American politics is REMARKABLE.

  • Woooooow, this is how debates should be. The morons today just go on with senseless babble and feign attacks.

  • I'm actually excited that i ran across these videos. Thank you very much!!

  • @AloysiusAtJSP - You're very welcome! :D

  • Ron Paul 2012 from Denmark!

  • Politically, Kennedy and Nixon really aren't that different from each other. Both were anticommunists but realists at the same time, and neither wanted to eliminate the safety net for the poor. These debates are almost always for show.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • rip :(

  • haha, ron paul....'

  • the whole thing about Kennedy being more popular due to appearance is a bullshit baseless myth

  • rules for comments? that doesn't seem fair. people have the right to their opinions, so if i say that Nixon was a Nazi am i getting blocked? lol btw there are declassified CIA documents that prove Nixon had Nazi war criminals working in the white house for him, if i say that the american government assassinated J.F.K will i get blocked? lol it's a bit of a power trip to try to control what people say just because you posted this video, it's not like you created it or own it.

  • @MrWitchycat - I am just trying to prevent cyberbullying or mean remarks. People can have their own opinion and state it, just try to state it constructively, not in a mean or harsh way and preferably with no unnecessary swearing. I am not trying to oppress or control you.

  • Two thoughts about JFK's speech: 1. Don't worry, the Hoffa situation will be resolved. 2. Stop talking about peanut farmers from Georgia!!!

  • Ironic, USA runs under the same message of freedom tha JFK lays out here, but has a VERY different view about implementing it. I think JFK would be ashamed of the USA it has become today, if he would not have been rubbed out as liability.

  • Watching this debate reminded me of the Clinton Bush debate back in 1992.

  • siema jestem maciej z polkowic którędy na grunwald?

  • killed for opposing vietnam and operation northwoods

  • RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • @Solvethatwagon Great, just what the US people need, another rightwing idiot caring for the rich, at the expense of the rest. What USA needs, is atleast one more party for the sake of a truly working democracy, and someone who is not bought by corporations.

  • haha, ron paul...;

  • Next up, Ron Paul vs. Obama. And we all know who will win... :)

  • @SavantOnASpinet obama. :)

  • Ron Paul is the only candidate that has an unwavering record of defending our Constitution and addressing the problems that our country is facing. He had the foresight to predict and warn about the consequences throughout the years and the knowledge to put us back on the right track to restore our Constitutional Republic to be yet again a great nation. The rest do not have a record to stand that mirrors what they now say - Ron Paul does.

  • I love that he said he doesent want to see any Americans talents to go to waste

  • GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYZ JFK BEST PRESIDENT IN USA BLACK ND LATIN PPL LOVE YOU

  • JFK walked up in looked over at nixon and said f*ck with it... then he won the debate... like a boss....

  • 48 yers ago rip jfk

  • thnx

  • The Cuban Missile Crisis: Ditto. That psycho Gen. Curtis LeMay was dying to launch a first strike. President Kennedy told him to take that cigar he was puffing on & shove it. Had he listened to the military it would've led to nuclear war. Millions of innocent people would've died. Instead he sent Bobby to meet with the Soviets. The US was already planning to remove the missiles from Turkey; they were basically obsolete, so the US didn't make any concessions. He saved us from nuclear war twice.

  • The Bay of Pigs - President Kennedy didn't botch that invasion. CIA scumbag Allen Dulles admitted - it's in his own handwriting - the plans the CIA presented Kennedy with were designed to fail. They believed they could corner him; when it became clear the invasion was going to fail, he would give the CIA / military permission to launch a full scale invasion - which is what they really wanted. A move that could've triggered a nuclear war with the USSR. Thank God President Kennedy didn't cave.

  • @NYRangerz68 if JFK had agreed to the naval air cover the invasion would have suceeded and averted the Cuban missile crisis that could have ended so much...

  • President Kennedy didn't get us involved in Vietnam. Vietnam is considered to have officially begun in '54 under Eisenhower. By Oct. '63 JFK had already signed National Security Action Memorandum 263 which called for the first advisors to be home by Dec. '63 and for all troops to be out of Vietnam by the spring of '65. The same day President Kennedy was buried that psycho POS Lyndon Johnson signed NSAM 273, which completely reversed President Kennedy's orders, accelerating the war in Vietnam.

  • Lincoln was Republican.

  • kennedy the last true president.. Know the country waits for ron paul!

  • Time progresses, and its quite interesting to see the sway of political and ideological viewpoints here in the States. If paying close attention to politics, its not hard to discover that many people today have a large distaste for candidates, Democrat, Republican or whatever they be. People too often forget that the past will always be romanticized, although; I find a huge distaste when people put down presidents of our day. A president cannot be fully judged until years out of office.

  • @44pres11 That was the wisest statement I have ever read on a comment section.

  • Thanks MiscVideos78rpm, for putting these videos up. Presidents - they don't make them like they used to. And I am not American.

  • @kpurswani - You're very welcome! :)

  • @kpurswani true, but Nixon went on to the presidency and had no business being there with his stupidity of the Watergate coverup... also letting Kissinger sell the US out in the Paris Treaty.

  • miscvidios78rpm is awsome!

  • @LibertyofBoise - You get a shoutout! :)

  • Man look at them then look at the people running for president now. just terrible..........................

  • Our adversaries bring out the best potentials and capabilities in all of us.

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awesomeness!

Interesting video, and I'm not American. Love history.

  • @rminister1971 - You get a shoutout! :)

  • @rminister1971 I traced my name back to the declaration of independents, and as a American i can truly say we are about to or already have lost our freedom. we do nothing of what Kennedy says we should do, in fact we are beginning to enslave our selfs slowly but surely if not stopped.

  • how tall was john kennedy? random i know but it just poped into my head lol

  • @movieman175 - I believe he was 6 feet tall.

  • The young people were inspired by JFK hopefully this election there will be a candidate who can inspire the younger people like JFK did

  • @rhersh2011 Tot this time, i think amercia will never again have a JFK

  • Kennedy was one of the best presidents Teddy Roosevelt as well

  • Great president hero of the US hope there will be a leader in the future 2016-2020 who stands for what is right and is a leader with the interests of the US in mind

  • Kennedy was the best thing the US has ever produced best president by far but that party went way too far engineers are better for government there were better candidates in 2008 but they didn't run hopefully Santorum has a change to win

  • Nixon subscribed @8:07

  • Nixon subscribed @8:09

  • I don't get it... I thought Nixon was supposed to look like a pile of shit here.... he looks normal.............

  • Nixon was sick before this interview and refused to wear make up. Kennedy agreed to wear make up. Because of this, people who watched the interview sided with Kennedy because Nixon looked very "suspicious" and those who only listened to it mostly sided with Nixon.

I find this kind of funny.

  • Trying to restructure the CIA to end its illicit operations abroad, end the Vietnam War and its horrible tolls, close the private federal reserve bank and its control over American prosperity. - that's why he was the people's President and that's why they (those in power) had him killed.

  • We need another Kennedy, Andrew Jackson, or, Lincoln.

  • In the Middle East JFK is known as "The only honest American"

    So he gets assassinated...

  • Both of these men were awesome speakers.

  • Most entertaining debates..ever.

  • Why can't we have debates now?

  • @imlatinoguy

    we do.

  • We studied this in a media studies college class

Apparently those who listened to the debate on the radio -believed NIXON won

those who saw it on tv- believed Kennedy won

Since then DEMS have made a rule that ALL presidential debates be televised

  • oh Kenedy.... he would die again if he would see whats happened to the economic of the us.... Kenedy at least tried to shut down the federal bank.

  • Kennedy talking about racial differences between whites and every other race in the US still true, GJ America 50 years since this speech and still going strong lol

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awesomeness!

    Long live Freedom!!!!!

    GO RON PAUL!

  • @Fastlane05 - You get a shoutout! :)

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awesomeness!

  • miscvidios78rpm is awsome!

  • @jiflores6981 - You get a shoutout! :)

  • Kennedy and the crook! :-)

  • @makiavelli999 ...Nixon would have done a better job with cuba and Vietnam......he even had a plan prepared for cuba before kennedy lolz

  • Back then, leaders were actually leaders. What a concept. Listen to how well they address the issues of their time without a teleprompter. Our government would be lost without its pre-programmed words.

I guess this is why people believe an individual such as Sarah Palin could be president.

  • This was truly a great debate

  • What a great speech by a great president.

  • MiscVideos78RPM is a Dinosaur! RAWRRRRR!

  • @TheCorduroyCommunist - You get a shoutout! :)

  • Nixon always reminds me of President Logan from 24

  • MiscVideos78RPM is awesome!

  • @supereggtooth - You get a shoutout!

  • Ugh, Nixon and his sweaty upper lip. How anyone could have ever voted for this creep is a mystery. Liberals were right about this criminal Nixon all along, as history has borne out.

  • JFK is much better than Nixon

  • Kennedy blows Nixon away

  • JFK's got swag lol

  • JFK Ruled!

  • Who else is here because their hooked on the Kennedy's show. Currently being shown on BBC2.

I know it has it critics. Maybe it is a bit to soap-opera. But I still thinks it great.

  • Say what you like about both, two great leaders both very well spoken.

  • John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln were the 2 best presidents of the united states of America. They were both assassinated.

  • @MrWsad Dont Forget Ronald Reagan, he was one of the best and had an assassination attempt on his life.

  • @poptart1139 Reagan was not one of the best

  • @poptart1139 Are you kidding me here? I'm not american, but it seems I know more about your presidents than you do. The Reagan economy was a one-hit wonder. Yes, there was a boom in the mid-1980s, as the economy recovered from a severe recession. But while the rich got much richer, there was little sustained economic improvement for most Americans. By the late 1980s, middle-class incomes were barely higher than they had been a decade before and the poverty rate had actually risen.

  • @censortube09 You do not know! Reagan stimulated the economy by cutting our taxes. I owned and operated business at the time . I was still a kid at the time. My husband who is 10 years older than I was a business owner at the time too. I am a business woman who is networked with many business people. We were all hiring people, giving bonuses and doing well after Reagan cut taxes, and set us free to run business.

  • @painin2teeth yes, Reaganomics has a positive side ( The invisible hand, spoke in the 2000!, "cried out in 2007! but the " the children" of this failed philosophy are still trying to keep this pyramid scam up! The leaders of the GOP are intellectual hustlers at best; their founders of their party would be not be happy.. Just look at the lack of morals/objectivity of the GOP. (I hear a lot of people giving opinions as facts! For god sake Obama is an american!)

  • @painin2teeth unfortunately most small business owners don't want to pay a decent wage..by the 80's most women were working to support their families. This led to a higher family incomes but now that has been erased and debt, which includes over spending, is becoming ruinous..

  • @censortube09 you don't know what you are talking about. The Reagan tax cuts created the largest mega-boom in US history. It lasted until 1999. During Reagan's presidency alone 16 million jobs were created. Many of the succesful big and medium size businesses today were started in the 1980's. Reagan inherited a misery index (the sum of the inflation and unemployment rates) of 20%, and when he left office it had dropped to 9.72%. 86% of the poorest 1/5th of families moved OUT of poverty.

  • @censortube09 Reagan was the only president who had the balls to go against the federal reserve.

  • @censortube09

you're right.please understand my fellow Americans are basically brain washed from the entertainment industry coupled with fluoride in our drinking water for most Americans.I'm sure you know about that, yes? You also know the idea first came to government under Hitler's Administration for obvious reasons.Times are changing, not just in America but world wide awaking. I admit,it's slower process here. :(

  • MiscVideos78RPM is awesome!

  • @tehsuperepicpwnzor - You get a shoutout!

  • john fitzgerald kennedy true pres y did they take him ...

  • Had Kennedy lived, I suspect he would have entered the same troubled waters over Vietnam as Johnson did. It effectively ruined Johnson, and I suspect it would have ruined Kennedy

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awesome!

  • @Nipponkoku - You get a shoutout!

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awesome.

  • @southparkfan2717 - You get a shoutout!

  • Kennedy and Reagan are was beating Communists

  • kenedy was a good man but i cant look at nixon without cracking a smile since i saw futuramma i guess the media really does effect our veiw on people

    aroooooo!

  • Politicians seemed more honorable, intelligent and respectful to history back then. I wish we would see that again, nowadays.

  • how could JFK believe in big gov if he supported many gov programs like social security.

  • What a great debate, two top politicians.

  • John Kennedy was a good man

  • @Q8Bo3abed - He was!

  • @Q8Bo3abed

Too good to be a president. That's why they had him assassinated.

Kennedy pretty much saved the world from total annihilation and his critics saw him as weak.

Had he not been of Irish descent he might have lasted longer.

  • Would that we had choices like Kennedy/Nixon nowadays.

  • kennedy was a better president than nixon no argument.

  • Nixon never gets any credit. He ended the war in Vietnam, as promised, reestablished relations with China, started the EPA, among other environmental actions, ended school segregation in the south, among many other things. Kennedy's most lasting legacy is the Bay of Pigs, while his successor Johnson did most of what Kennedy gets credit for.

  • Kennedy's speech is reactionary and calculatedly aimed at all the topical concerns of that time. This guy's history is scary, the blind unquestioning adoration for him scarier. He took us into Viet Nam, botched the Bay of Pigs, and lost the exchange over Cuban missile sites- in exchange for the Soviets not installing missiles with warheads, we removed our bases already on the Russian-Turkish border.

    He was a gangster's son, and died a gangster's son's death.

  • @F1NG3R420

He didn't took us into Vietnam. Eisenhower did by sending advisors first. JFK put advisors in, which was wrong, but by 63, he wanted troops out as proven by the book "The Unspeakable." He didn't botched the Bay of Pigs. He was lied to by the CIA and he admitted his error since he was President in that time. He started detente with the Soviets in promoting peace and opposition to war in 63. He supported health care to seniors and took on Big Steel.

  • Happy B-Day JFK <3

May 29th today he would have been 94

  • @Afgsusan1 Yes, happy birthday JFK. You were a great man! :)

  • as an individualist and Libertarian, as well as an admirer of intelligence anywhere it blossoms, I love this man.

  • I think this was the greatest debate of all time. Nixon and Kennedy, both legends in their own right, debating. It's awesome.

  • Both Nixon and JFK were crooks, both were greatly undeserving of the office of the presidency.

  • @andayy JFK was a crook? I think you are talking about LBJ.

  • put into todays context..Nixon's words make a lot more sense to me than Kennedy's

  • it kills me that great men die early like mlk and jfk but nixon became president years later but nixon runs later n gets elected n hes a cheater, thank god he wasn't president during this era...

  • only the good pressidents get assassinated

  • @yoitsblang William McKinley and James Garfield?

  • @yoitsblang James A. Garfield was a good president?

  • @yoitsblang Bill Cliton

  • @yoitsblang lincoln killed, kennedy killed, reagan wounded.

  • @jerzy862 McKinnely killed, Garfield Killed.

  • @yoitsblang What about Garfield?

  • rory culkin brought me here

  • @TheRustyMack Where did he link this video?

  • Sounds like Nixon told us to vote for Kennedy lol

  • @Mike. Its simply historical fact that Kennedy escalated US involvement in Vietnam. The groundwork was laid for Johnson's further escalation. Not to mention Kennedy's Bag of Pigs fiasco which Democrats seem to forget. What I said about rising crime is also factual. Of course you can argue that Kennedy wasn't directly responsible for that, just in charge.

  • Its funny... by the end of Kennedy's speech he seems to have won Nixons vote along with americas.

  • @MrSmidgie Agreed. If Nixon had won this election and not taken over in 1968 when the wheels were already coming off in this country I think we'd look back on him much differently.

  • @MrSmidgie What??!? So that was all Kennedy's fault? If I'm not mistaken Vietnam really didn't kick off until after he died. As a matter of fact, we had forces in Vietnam since Eisenhower's first term (though a small number).

  • Wow ! He called out Hoffa by name. Man, you don't know how those types can go out of their way to get back at you for comments like that.

  • @MrSmidgie Agreed. Kennedy was just a charismatic empty suit.

  • culkin brought me here

  • I love Kennedy's accent. Especially the way he says "half."

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awsome

  • @stickystick105 You get a shoutout!

  • wow kennedy was not satisfied with our country!

  • MiscVideos78rpm is awesome

  • @pace7759 You get a shoutout!

    -Misc

  • @MiscVideos78rpm whats a shout out? and why did you put misc at the end?

  • @Shadikun1 A shoutout is when someone advertises your YouTube channel, if you will. I put Misc at the end because Misc is my little signature ~ an abbreviation of my username, MiscVideos78rpm.

  • @MiscVideos78rpm oh... MISCVIDEOS78RPM IS AWESOME!!!

  • @Shadikun1 You get a shoutout!

  • A time when politicians weren't complete dingbats. Then JFK died and our forefathers had to put up with LBJ.

  • @fnadde42 Sweeden is a natin with fewer than 10 million people, the U.S. has more than 320 million. If we ever tried what has worked in Sweeden and Norway, we would completely bankrupt our nation. Most of us who strongly oppose socialism have always supported social programs as long as they're provided for by our individual states, but what we are against is our federal government redistributing funds from hard-working people in one of our states and giving it to a person in another state.

  • I'm making a history essay about the JFK assassination and I'm starting to realize what good thoughts Kennedy had.

05:29 I love this part, mainly because I'm a Swede and feel sorry for the americans that doesn't have good social security

"I don't believe in big governments, but I believe in governmental action"

And I don't get why americans are so afraid of the word "socialism". We don't have only socialism in Sweden but we have a mix with mostly capitalism and a litte socialism.

    Seems to work.

  • love this !!!

  • This man was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too good for America . America didn't deserve him , the best there is ,the best there was and the best there ever will be. may God have mercy on your soul

  • Its sad. Most young people now only know about JFK because of Black Ops. :/

  • JFK kills zombies all day long.

  • dont pray for easyer lives pray to be stronger men

  • I love history.

  • @Axalara. I agree with you. I liked Nixon too.

  • I have to say, Nixon did not get enough credit. I respect both of them and am not trying to start an argument, but I liked Nixon.

  • dont forget nixon was a real snake

  • @Axalara Okay i'm a John Lennon fan and supporter and am against Nixon.

  • @Axalara Watergate ring a bell.

  • @Axalara I respect both of them too, But Kennedy seemed more organized. More calm. And stronger in his rhetoric. Nixon seemed to me to be too nervous. I give Nixon respect for his experience in public office, serving 2 terms in the house. 1 year of Senate. and 8 years as Vice-President. While Kennedy had been elected too the House 3 times. And Senate twice. At this Point, Kennedy was a stronger canidate.

  • @Axalara That's probably why Nixon eventually won the presidency with 49 out of 50 states voting for him. Kennedy was MUCH more polarizing and controversial, and barely won his election. Just goes to show that even though I believe we have the best form of government we can have, the people don't always choose right.

  • You kiddies here just because of Black Ops amuse me, but I guess if it gets history out to people so bet it. I don't care what you guys say I admire both of these gentlemen.
