I dont know, I live in a country with government run health care and its pretty sweet, I can get hit by a bus and it doesn't cost me anything. (in fact the uk spends half the amount on health care per capita than the usa and there is no one who is not covered for treatment)

Hey thanks for your comments! Well, I hope you DON'T get hit by a bus, but if you do, please remember the care you get is NOT free. Someone, like all your fellow citzens, are paying for it... I'd like to see our free market system be able to work, but our government has imposed so many regualtions the free markets have been bastardized, and it has driven cost up. I hope we can stay a capitalist society, but I fear that the socialists are now in office... Thanks again, and thanks for viewing!

You are of course correct, it does cost the tax payer.

I personally don't believe that capitalism can provide for a truly egalitarian society, but I also appreciate that without a capitalist drive economies can stagnate. It's probably one of those things where the optimum strategy lies somewhere in between two sides.

For example, government funded education and defense are a given even in capitalist countries and yet they are socially funded, should the same apply to health care? After all a healthy person can work and earn money, and pay taxes much better than an ill person. Perhaps, perhaps not.

Regardless you were very well spoken in your video and I wish you all the best in the competition. That dog looks well cool too! :D

Hey, great comments again! Yes, there is definitely a place for government involvement, such as national defense - which is part of our Constitution, however, private interprize should be left as much to itself as possible so the capitalistic system can actually function... Thanks!
