  • loooove errol <333333333333333

  • looks like this film OD'ed on Eddie Cantor. Reminds me of Steve Sondheim's 1965 lyric about Doris Day: ..."suddenly there's a blackout and everywhere I look, there's a closeup of Doris Day; 90 minutes of Doris Day; there was nothing to do but pray..."

  • I adore Eddie Cantor

  • Eddie Cantor gives me nightmares.

  • That's Alexis Smith dancing the rhumba. Evidently, during Bette's "Either Too Young or Too Old" number, at the end when she is tossed around by her dance partner she threw her back out something fierce. You can just see her going offstage trying to hold herself up. She was a trooper.

  • @sporran564 Actually, it was her leg that got banged up. You can see her rubbing her knee towards the end of the number when she exits the nightclub. That, needless to say, wasn't in the script. Trooper indeed.

  • Was this a full film with proper dialogue or just songs by actors? Is it on youtube in parts?

  • @maddddyalice eddie cantor is the only one with real plot and dialogue

  • Bette and Olivia! :)

  • do you have Bette Davis number? :) would love to see it

  • Wonderful movie and....Hattie McDaniel! I think this is the best of those star-filled musicals that all the major studios produced to promote patriotism during WWII. Thanks for bringing this to us.

  • Thank you Very Much for this video!!
