@Nudlikah One time a band I was in was covering the Goldfinger version of 99 red balloons and about 10 seconds in (that's right, I wasn't even playing yet) I dropped my pick and ended up playing the rest of the song with my fingers (and slapping a few parts too). My opinion is if you play bass you should learn to play well with a pick and your fingers!

What pickups are they? i know they are american, but what ones lol. link would be cool, as i like the tone :)

Also, what amp do you use? my practice amp seems to make any bass sound "metalic" and twangy :/ rather than a nice warm tone.
