@deathblackthrashing I don't think burzum was the first to do DSBM. I would credit Mutiilation, Xasthur and bands like that. Burzum more or less started the whole NSBM thing.

@mahamrityumjay It is a celebration of negativity, a revolt against all that is considered 'good' in our world. 'Good' being things such as Christianity, conservativism etc. Both of which have considerably negative impacts upon society themselves. The Satanism is just a metaphor, symbolic of hatred. Though this negativity/hatred could be considered positive, as it encourages those interested to wake up to the world around us.

@deathblackthrashing its a celebration of negativity and freedom. many musicians use B.M as a medium to express their views be it Satanism,Misanthropy,National Socialism,Nihilism,Nature,Depression and even finding Joy in negativity its like there are no bars and guidelines and you will not find this sort of Freedom in any extreme music genre sure there are some aesthetic guidelines in B.M but you know what im talking about right? .in the end its all about Negativity and Freedom
