Dear @jsmorel86:

-The Datto originally has a lot of chrome on the body, trims, moldings, bezels etc

the only "extra" chrome is the valve cover. then the rest is oem .

-stickers were part of the show to piss people, then removed.

-Purple paint: I bought it from the previous owner who is a Lakers fan and

wasn't a "mexican" like you mentioned, in fact all the contrary...

-stop hanging with cholos, they're no good.

so the f20 was a no brainer for me, honda ecu and wiring was easy to get around for me. To be honest i was scared in the beginning because i didn't had any resource to how to do it, so either way i was about to destroy a 510 and loss 5g's for the s2k engine and parts... but within a year after trial an error parts were fitting just right and the crossmember was adjusted. I didn't want to drive a speed demon or a flashy car, i just wanted to put an smile on people... that's all.

The reason i choose that swap is because i didn't want to get "off the shelf" swap kit and get the same SR20 swap on it. or go with a LS1 swap ,I wanted to drive my datsun not to leave it in the garage and wait for gas to go lower. or a VQ35, (at that time i had a G35 so i didn't want another VQ). Also i didnt want to go boost, I just had sold my boosted b16, so i didnt want to go that route....
