  • Daren, I think you should mention that both programs are free now.

  • this is it

  • olá você tem o codigo de registro, não consigo encontrar, se puder me dar fico feliz, obrigado

  • I wish I'd seen this earlier! Thank you for your fantastic work!

  • Whoa ! This is FINE !! Man, you da thinka

  • Very interesting. Not used to seeing that sort of display. Well done :) I guess the only thing I find limiting in the 606-303 arena there aren't any chord changes but I guess that's the beauty of it. Perhaps the only way to do it would be to import an entire sequence on the comp then add to it and build as you go along but then it wouldn't be completely analog.. Thx for this.. k later :)

  • Daren ager.

So what's better in your opinion? Software or Hardware?

  • digital as f**k !

imho if you wanna play/produce acid buy two tb303's and a drum machine

  • m8 reli gd m8 i always enjoy ur videos if any1 including ur self has the iphone or ipod touch u can get the tb303 on it

  • im your fan....

  • nice one man...jealous of your hardware tho...

  • all that equip and this is what you made this loop with,,,,, cheers man

  • You could do with some analog sims. Try downloading Reaper and using an analog simulating VSTs to get a feel for how synths work.

Frankly learning what each parameter does isn't a particularly academic thing (although there's a lot of science behind it), it's more a matter of experimentation and using your ear to assess what each parameter is doing to the frequency & timbre characteristics of your sound. Don't be dismayed by the fact that the learning curve is very sharp!

    Peace

  • sound is pure physics so i think it is somthing academic

  • its always the musician and his /her creativity

    and experience in other words

    practice

    practice

    practice

  • I have a Palm Tungsten T5, and I used to use these programs. Then I switched over to my Jailbroken iPod Touch, and I wish they would make programs like these.

  • Daren, this is brilliant, any chance of an mp3 of it? I love your modern but retro acid, keep it acid indeed :)

When is your stuff being released, I can't find it on itunes :(

  • Oh my that is sweet software. I may have to start charging by zire 72 again.

  • Really interesting video. Who could imagine something like this, back in 1988?

    Keep it acid, man!!

  • Boner in your Palm!

That's hawt.... I've got an olllld handspring visor... I wonder if? nah. no effing way that could work.

*hops on over to microbe's site.

    Thanks!

  • Awesome. Keep it acid!

  • very cool.!

  • Cheers! I don't think it can run on an emulator because the code is optimised for ARM cpu's, but you can pick up a used Palm T3 for quite cheap on ebay, the software costs $43 for both, so with the Palm about £100 all in, cheaper than a used synth and it fits in your pocket :)

  • fuckin amazin daz, phat acid on a palm top :o will need to check out that software, i take ut u can emulate it on pc??

  • In your PC use Rebirth, its the best TB303 emulator in the shire, and its free. Have to Voice and 2 drumm machines.
