not to hate or anything but i dislike your method of drawing by copying what you see i personally like drawing out of my head but i have to give you props for being really accurate to the picture.
@1018ironman An really good artist,Daler Rowney, said that some people like to draw off the top of their head because its mostly easier and fun and thats ok and to improve you should have some props of some kind.
@isaiahb26 I don't know if he does it this way, but there are different shades of pencils (H being the lightest and 6B being the darkest) I use these types of value pencils a lot. By the way, a 6B pencil can get that much darkness into your drawings, just put more pressure on it. If you hold the pencil at the end, it will be lighter. If you hold it near the tip, it will be darker.
