@Drphalgun19 Indian Co. supposedly will produce them. Don't hold your breath. I get funny feeling this transfer of ownership of HDT's stuff to an offshore company is intended to sweep under the rug the millions HDT scamed from the american taxpayer for their somewhat failed diesel projects. So far even educated backyard diesel bike builders have surpased HDT's success it appears. see suckindieselDOTcom/thingy
@Drphalgun19 As for the military model i couldnt say but the Altius has a plastic fuel tank i think. As for its worth it is a matter of opinion. It looks pretty much like a kawasaki KLR650 with a diesel motor. Slower than the petrol with a shitty throttle response but is able to pull off 100MPG on the motorway (I heard about 50MPG when offroading which is still great)
@Drphalgun19 Currently no Civilian model is in production. But a company in India will be releasing one in the near future for around 150-170k rupees (around £2000). Called the Altius Scimitar. It runs on the same engine as the one used by the American army and only has minor changes to the frame.
